“Perfectly fine hotel”
This hotel isn't as bad as the other reviews suggest. It's not noisy if you're away from the front entrance and although there is some road noise, the windows are double glazed so you don't hear much. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the car parking was reasonable; usually only 3 or 4 euro overnight. The hotel was clean and the foyer and bar areas looked well kept. It's just a five minute walk into the centre. Although the surrounding area isn't lovely to look at, if you can get a cheap rate it's a perfectly nice hotel.
“Adequate Hotel”
For - Great staff, easy parking, easy walk to City Centre, free wifi, small gym Against - I was on floor 3 which had a pitched roof making it feel a little cramped and the windows gave no view to the outside. My shower didnt work but these things happen, I'm sure they will fix that as I reported it. The road was very noisy outside, probably not the Hotels fault though that a bunch of revellers woke me at 2am. The small Gym could be laid out better, 30 minutes on a running machine staring at a wall is not perfect. The Hotel is perfectly OK but next time I will be trying the Radisson just up the road.
“Restaurant booking.”
If you intend to eat in the Hotel restaurant, make a reservation as soon as you book in. We were refused a meal, even though we were residents, because we had no reservation.
