Good location, in center city square

Posted 08-Aug-2014
Pros: They have a cafe right next to the bar.
Cons: Condition of the hotel. Parking is not great either; have to park off site a few blocks away.
Location: Galway shopping down by the Spanish Arch is great.
Great location but not up to standard. The friendly staff was the only good thing about this hotel. We had to switch rooms because the first one smelled so badly of smoke. The other smells in the hotel were not much better, but at least the second room didn't smell like smoke. The hotel room was fairly clean, but the condition of the hallway walls and carpets were terrible. If they would just paint the walls it would look so much better. The bartenter was VERY helpful and explained the city, directions, etc. Very enjoyable bar staff.

noisy

Posted 02-Aug-2014
Pros: very convenient to be in the city centre. all staff extremely friendly and professional.
Cons: Bathroom could have had nice sachets of shampoos shower gels etc.
Location: very convenient
the only complaint we had, the room facing on to the street was extremely noisy until 2am.

Great location, a bit disorganized

Posted 24-Jul-2014 on Hotels.com
The reception staff were pleasant but a bit disorganized. They didn't have a place to securely store luggage for people who checked in before our room was ready. They also had some trouble figuring out which was our room when we returned in the evening. The room itself was simple and clean. I found the hotel quite noisy, but that was probably more to do with the other people staying there. It's very convenient to Galway city center.

Great location

Good fictional hotel very efficient staff but the location of this hotel is its main selling point being just on corner of Eyre square away from super macs side which can get very high spirited with revellers at night.

Nice hotel

Posted 17-Jul-2014
Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, great breakfast.
Cons: Better ventilation in the rooms. It was very stuffy.
Location: Good location for the square but farther away from the pub action down by the river.
Friendly, helpful staff made our stay pleasant. The front desk stores your room key while you are out sightseeing so you can't loose it.
