Great location - great accommodations!

Pros: LOCATION! Amazing rooftop deck!
Cons: More towels, blankets, pillows.
Location: 2 blocks from the park, shopping area and pubs. Walking distance to anything.
Amazing apartments! We had a great 2 bed/2 bath apartment and it was great. Very modern and clean inside. We had a balcony that overlooked the entire city, and the apartments have a great rooftop deck to relax on with great views! Great value for your money - I would definitely recommend to anyone!

Handy location

Posted 27-Aug-2013
Pros: Location.
Cons: Clear written directions to the appartments due to a frustrating one way street system.
Location: Five minute walk from down town Galway.
Found it frustrating trying to locate the Western Hotel where you have to pick up your keys for the appartments especially finding a parking space. That done however and once safely parked in the below ground car park the appartments themselves are more than adequate. The building itself is a bit in need of maintenance but acceptable for a short stay. Good self contained facilities and a comfortable bed.

Citypoints apartments

Fantastic short stay in these apartments. Because of the Galway one-way system the apartments are not easy to find and maybe I missed the details in my haste to book at the last minute but it didn't seem to be clear that you had to book in at the Western Hotel on Prospect Hill, just off Eyre Square. Once booked in everything was perfect

Minor Issues Overcome By Amazing Location

First , you actually check in at the Western, a block away, and you enter Citypoint through a barely marked door behind JK Maxx. Next, the lift (elevator) was working maybe half the time we stayed there. Also, these rooms have been pretty beaten up in the few short years since they were built. In the end, none of it matters because of the VIEW. Huge floor to ceiling windows plus a rooftop deck give you 360 degrees of Galway, including the famous sunsets over the famous Bay. You're a block from Eyre Square, a very short walk from Shop Street, and sitting on top of it all in your clean, modern apartment. Very much worth it.
