Beautiful hotel with a great leisure centre and very friendlly, helpful staff. The room was big and very comfortable. Was a bit noisy late at night with weddings and Christmas parties, our room was near the front door, but it wouldn't put me off staying sgain.
This is a quaint old fashioned hotel with lovely bones.
You could imagine some international group investing hugely into the fabric that covers those bones.
If it happens, I hope they don't destroy it!
The location is brilliant, settling near town in a lovely district of Galway.
The breakfast is a steal at €10.
The rooms need a refresh but they are grand.
Strongly recommended.

Close enough to walk downtown, easy enough to take a taxi if your lazy. The pool was a welcome relaxation for myself as well as my toddler, breakfast was worth it in my opinion and the rooms were spacious and welcoming !
The room was adequate but very clean. Easy access the the parking garage made getting in and out a breeze. Getting into town requires a short taxi ride. The staff was kind and helpful.
We waited in the reception for 15mins to check in as the receptionist had to show the previous pair their room, she disappeared without acknowledging us & apologised for delay on return. Had food in the bar, service was great but the food was bland. Room was ok but dated. Breakfast was lovely.
We enjoyed our stay. The room had the best shower ever! Espresso machine in the room was a nice touch. The room could have done with a vacuming and the hotel could use a lick of paint here and there which I think they are doing. The leisure centre staff and facilities were great.
Beautiful quiet location and the hotel was lovely. Very nice! Room lovely and quiet

My 1 night stay at The Ardilaun Hotel was very good. Although my check-in was slightly delayed, my room was well sanatised with complimentary water supplied. The breakfast was excellent. Overall I would rate this hotel very highly.

Room is comfortable, hotel decor is tired except for the old drawing rooms. Bedroom corridors long and narrrow; signage is confusing. Cooking odours pervade the lobby. Main dining room is closed, as is the coffee shop. Breakfast food is poor and was cold. Tables covered in oil cloth. Forrest of mobile phone aerials dominate the roofline. Entrance dominated by a car park.
Big spacious room, swimming pool and sauna are spotless cleaned, friendly sraff closev to city ctre

Not recommend
Bothe dinner and breakfast was extremely poor. Dinner was overpriced and was extremely poor quality.
I would not recommend this hotel. Will not be staying again.
