First, we were pleasantly surprised when someone called and confirmed our 2 consecutive reservations and that they would be combined/connected so that we would not be inconvenienced by having to change rooms. However, this was not the case once we arrived. So many issues...our 3 p.m. check-in turned into our waiting in our vehicle for an hour and a half! They said the room wasn't ready and our check-in should have been 4 p.m. but to check back in 30 minutes. Then they could not reach housekeeping despite calling 8 times. We missed our dinner reservations and that's just the half of it. Later, after we unpacked our entire week's worth of clothing, groceries, fishing gear, etc., we received a call stating that we would have to check out the following morning and check back into another room BUT they would keep us on the same floor and try to have housekeeping clean our room a bit earlier so that we would not have to wait until 4 p.m. to check back in. WHAT!?! So, now we not only had to sit in our vehicle for an hour and a half, miss our dinner reservations, unpack...just to repack it all (3+ carts full), but it now looks as if we will have hours of waiting in a hallway (unless we want to drag everything back down and sit in our vehicle) possibly for several hours? WTH!?! Don't even get me started on the condition of the place (stuck drawers, fridge not sealing correctly, sticky floors, dirty hand/fingerprints all over the doors, bed skirt halfway off the bed, rusty can-opener)
