“Awesome Beds”
Very Clean and Nice. Awesome Beds. Get the package with breakfast. Everything typically with continental PLUS made to order eggs and omlets. Super Good Breakfast! Enjoyed our stay. No Complaints ~ All Good
“Nice Hotel”
We had a girls outing weekend in Dubuque and stayed here. Our room had a slight odor to it when we arrived, but nothing the airconditioner couldn't take care of. The beds were really comfy and it was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. The staff was freindly and helpful; especially the wait staff for breakfast. We did have some issues with the adjoining casino -- their staff was unfriendly and down right rude (but they aren't affiliated with the hotel). Only a 5 minute drive (if that) to everything we did. Nice place to stay.
“Nice Quiet Stay”
The hotel was exceptionally quiet, especially considering it is right next to a major Dubuque Casino and we stayed at the height of "wedding season". Pool was very nice, grounds were well kept, lobby and rooms well maintained as is usual for a Garden Inn. We were unhappy with the mattresses however....killed both my wife and my backs. We had to stay in a double queen room b/c of the kids, so perhaps the King with the comfort adjustment wouldn't be as bad, but frankly sleeping was pure misery. Which is really too bad b/c otherwise it was a great hotel.

Very clean room and beautiful hotel, staff was not overly friendly. Was surprised that breakfast was not included in the cost of the room and that the price for it was so high, since the cost of the room was so high to begin with compared to other hotels in the area. We had trouble booking our room as the computer system at the hotel was down, but after about an hour we were finally able to get through. We dined at the Casino for the lunch buffet and it was very good, also Houlihan's connects with the property and the service and food there was excellent. We used the pool area and it was very clean and the pool was the perfect temperature.
“Convenient,Comfortable,Clean”
My girl friends and I once a year take a shopping/gambling trip to dubuque. We have never had a bad experience at this hotel.
“Would definitely go back”
The hotel staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, making our weekend stay very comfortable and relaxing.

The location was excellent and easy to locate. We felt very safe and was able to use the pool and hot tub before retiring. Our room and beds were well stocked and quite comfortable although the location was too near the motor room as I am sensitive to that noise. ( Next time I will exam the location before accepting ). We will be happy to report that the hotel restaurant was super great. Our dinner was above average. We look ahead to our next stay. The 3 E's
