We were so impressed with this hotel- the hotel staff was friendly, and everything was clean and comfortable. The room was wonderful, very spacious. The king bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was gorgeous and also very spacious. We would definitely stay in this hotel again!

We were in town to visit a new grandson, and were very pleased to find this hotel. The owners/operators were very friendly and helpful and they've done a great job with the facility. It is clean and neat and a pleasant place to stay. It is very much still like it would have been in the early 1950's, when it was built. It was a bit like going back in time. The original green tile and fixtures are still in the bathrooms, but it looks new. This is not the hotel for someone looking for a modern "experience"...there are no hairdryers on the wall, plush sofas, etc., but if you are happy with quaint, clean, friendly and simple, this is a great hotel...especially for the price. Light breakfast is included...toast, cereal, and juice. My only recommendation to them is to add fruit, and perhaps hot water with instant grits and oatmeal, to the breakfast.
