“Good service, good price, good location”

My primary expectations are always comfortable beds, good hot shower, good food and pleasant staff. In all these categories this hotel met my expectations. The staff went out of their way to meet my needs and yet gave me space to enjoy time alone. I will be making this my hotel of choice whenever i am in Gainesville.

Area recommendations
I did not get time for sightseeing, but the open fields, chnaging leaves in autumn and the quaintness of the region certainly may my stay relaxing and interesting.
Getting there
By far the best way to get to the hotel from Atlanta airport is by taxi as long as you can afford the $100 metre fare. The alternative is the share shuttle service which enables you to share your fare with other travellersm although the price for a crowded trip reduces only to about $45, which means if there are three of you, a less crowded taxi would still be a better choice. The rreal danger of the share suttle (as i had the joy of finding out) is that if you are the only passenger you will be charged the full $100 if not more. In which case a more comfortable taxi would have been the better choice. HINT. first find out how many people are ttraveling to gainseville befoe you commit to either share or taxi.

“Would stay again!”

Our family was attending a wedding nearby. We enjoyed the amenities and clean rooms. The only thing we didn't anticipate was having to go out to eat for cheap meals for our family of five.

“Nice stay in Gainesville”

Very satisfied with our stay. The over all condition of the hotel was very nice. We will use again.

“Awesome Getaway!”

Richard was the front desk manager and he was so eager to meet my needs, i.e., driving directins, suggestions on eating places, things to do. There were 2 other guys, can't remember names, and they went out of their way to assist me. I ate breakfast in the hotel, and the lady who supervised the kitchen was outstanding, friendly, went out of her way to look after me. My room was so spacious and comfortable and the coffee provided was actually drinkable! I plan on taking my husband there on a weekend getaway. I can't wait to go back.

Area recommendations
The whole area of Gainesville, pretty much, is safe, nice, and easy to access. Downtown Gainesville is nice if you like walking and looking at old homes and historic sites. They have a pretty decent little mall to shop in. There is a Spa in Gainesville that was terrific! Can't name, but it was the best I have been to.
When to go
I went New Years week and weekend. I was practically by myself in the hotel. I got a lot of attention.

“Very nice”

Very nice clean rooms. Nice beds. Lots of close by restaurants. Convenien location. Staff was very friendly. Great Service. We had a nice full breakfast, however the restaurant was temporarily closed the rest of the time. The local restaurants were offering 10% off to hotel patrons however. Overall a good hotel.

“Clean and neat hotel”

Very clean and neat hotel for a reasonable price. Was a great place for us to stay while exploring the vineyards in the surrounding hills.

“very nice”

a quick weekend trip to north georgia and couldn't have picked a nicer hotel. staff was friendly and courteous and the breakfast buffet was great for taking the fresh fruit with me as i ventured to the mountains north. definately would recommend and stay again.

Area recommendations
if you're traveling and would like to go to mass on sunday morning, st. michael's church is very nice.
