“Excellent hotel”

Our one night stay at the Courtyard was very comfortable. The room is very nicely done with a king bed, flat screen tv, wifi, couch and mini fridge. The bed was excellent and I truly liked the room darkening curtains. The hotel staff we met were courteous and efficient both checking in and out. The hotel is located close to the mall and many restaurants. The price through Expedia was very reasonable since Expedia had a 25% discount sale. We would definitely stay here again.

“daughters birthday”

was great!! the rooms were beautiful and beyond clean. after an evening out on the town, we enjoyed the inside pool and spa. the staff was super friendly. no rudeness anywhere. also the outside was immaculate. loved the outdoor furniture. was very relaxing. will stay there again.

“Great experience. Very comfortable and convenient.”

My daughters and I have stayed at this hotel for the past three years. We look forward to our annual Christmas shopping trip because the hotel is so inviting and comfortable. The rooms and food service and the employees make this our favorite part of our trip. It is convenient to all the shopping we could ask for and Lot's of places to go eat.

“GREAT PLACE TO STAY; CONVENIENT TO SHOPPING and $PRICED$ RIGHT!!!”

Stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Buford Mall of Georgia for one night on a shopping weekend in November 2011. I am not sure when this hotel was built but it appears new. Service was great; we were allowed to check in before 11:00 am. Expedia price with breakfast was much better than other hotels that included breakfast. The location is just off the main road which translates to less noise from traffic; but still ideally located as it is less than a 1/4 mile off main road. This was the best price out there on our trip; however I would pay up to stay here next time without question!!!!!!!!

“we would stay again”

My wife and I stayed one night. Staff at front desk was helpful and very polite. Room was clean and smelled good. Had nice flat sceen tv and room had plenty of space. We stayed in several different hotels over the years from ritz carltons to motel 6. I would say this place is a very good pick for anyone that wants a clean and comfortable place to stay.

Buford ga, mall of ga area. Stay out of duluth,norcross,lawrenceville areas.

“Awesome Experience”

Driving into the parking lot, I was able to tell that the grounds were well maintained. Next to the front door there were two areas for congregation and/or smoking. One side had a small table and two chairs while the other side had a nice outdoor sofa type thing which would accomodate 5 to 6 people I would think. As we entered the hotel, we were greeted by extremely pleasant staff. Our children were asked what their names were and thoruhgout the evening, they were called by name. You don't find that everyday. The lobby area was very modern. It contained a bar area that also served Starbucks coffee, a lounging area with sofas and a huge flat screen tv on the wall as well as computers. Outside was a fire pit. The hotel has an indoor pool and hottub. The rooms were pretty and contained a mini fridge. We needed a baby crib and a pack n play was quickly brought to us. All personel that we encountered were awesome. My husband told the lady at registration that the reviews were spot on. She told us there are a little over 800 Courtyard by Mariott's and they were in the top 5. I can completely see why! Do not hesitate to stay here...We will be back!!

Area recommendations

Staying in Buford was great. We had easy access to a multitude of shopping. There were many restaurants to choose from and all were easily accessible form the hotel. I was also truely amazed at how clean the area was. Of course, being in the Atlanta area, we saw people of different kinds but NEVER had any feeling of being in a bad area.

“Slice of Apple Pie”

Sterling was my attendant when my friend and I checked in. Our drive to the hotel was 3 hours so we was hot and tired. Sterling got assistance to prepare our room and we were able to check in an hour earlier and relax.

Area recommendations

Lake Lanier and Buford Georgia seems to be a nice getaway.

“GREAT NEW Location - close to The Mall of GA”

Great location and another fabulous hotel by Marriott. Opened 10 months ago and has great decor. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay close to The Mall of Georgia and great restaurants within walking distance.
