“We shall be going back!”

The hotel was very quiet till the Sunday when it seemed to at least double in occupancy - not sure if there was a reason for this. The hotel took this in its stride with additional staff appearing to handle the increase. The rooms are great, spacious and the bathrooms are fantastic. The hotel is very child friendly (3 year old), with their own pool, and an excellent kids club. The pool area and beach are great - we had truly stress free days by the pool - in fact ran out of books after 4 days! We stayed B&B, breakfast lasted us till the evening and we either used the restaurants (great little Tapas bar) and the Spar in the nearby Atlantico centre. Also had a couple of nights when we ate in Calesta - plenty to choose from (great restaurant at the harbour), and its either a 4 Euro taxi ride away or a 10-15 minute walk. Checkout was at 12, and our flight meant we didn't need to be at the airport til 17:30, so we where offered the use of a courtesy room so we could get showered and changed. Overall we had a fantastic stay, and we intend to return next year at least once. The only critiscm we have are the cost of eating in the hotel (so we didn't).

“Great Place to Stay”

The hotel is in a prime location. There is a town within walking distance to the hotel that has many restaurants where the foods are reasonably priced. This hotel is also only ten minutes from the airport. The staff was very informative and courteous. Overall, the hotel is a great place to stay.

“Great Holiday”

Wonderful staff, great range of services, clean pool's and gym, nothing too much trouble, food in restaurant good but not outstanding, good range of food for breakfast buffet, great for a chill out holiday, not much to do nearby but that suited us, good Spa supermarket 5 mins away, good for children. Pool bar and other bar very expensive, room could have been dusted more thoroughly, our floors weren't great so we asked te cleaner and the rest of the holiday they were spotless, beware junior suite is only one room we have 2 children so upgraded on arrival, but they did a good deal and looked after us. We may go back for a relaxing break again as we had all we needed, the Sheraton is the best hotel in area.

“yeah baby”

Great hotel. we paid three thousand with two kids for 5 days with air OFF SEASON. Im a cheap dude but i feel it was worth it. Pay the 3 euro and go to the fado rock and hit some mussels. walk to the mall and hit up the supermarket beer is twenty seven cents per can!!!! Compared to the hotel 3.50 euro to 4.00 euro. to walk to the supermarket go out the beach gate and cut a right cant miss it. Enjoy we did!!

“Wonderful chill out”

As a solo traveller I was looking for a safe but luxury holiday. I thought the hotel met my needs. I had a large room with a good balcony overlooking pool and ocean. Bathroom was also of a high standard. I took a half board package and was not disappointed with the food. The spa was wonderful. i enjoyed a massage and on a nother day tried my first Thalasso spa under the guidance of the manager. An easy walk to the supermarket meant I could get any extras. A relaxing experience!

“Relaxing in 5 Star luxury”

On arrival we were greated with glasses of bubbly and juices for the children we were quickly shown our room and what a room! One of the best family rooms we have ever had - As we walked in we were amazed at the size. The bathroom consisted of an outer room with double wash basins and a walk-in wardrobe and through frosted glass doors was the round jacuzzi bath and a seperate shower cubicle followed by another door to the toilet . The room was a junior suite which consisted of a double bed and two single beds for the children, a round dining table and chairs, sofa , fridge ,coffee machine and TV. The decor was lovely and room was very clean. We also had a double balcony with table and chairs and two sunloungers which overlooked the pool area and as all the rooms a sea view. We decided to upgrade to half board as we had only booked b&b and each night there was a good selection of food but a bit repetative also I think a few child friendly additions to the buffet would have been welcomed. We did decide to eat at the Zen restaurant one night the food was good but initially we sent it back as it was cold but the waiters quickly sorted out this problem. The food at the poolside 'La Veranda' was expensive but really good especially the pasta and pizza. Both our children became water babies for the whole holiday as the pools were so good ,3 pools were heated and one was sea water and the pool area was kept very clean and you could collect fresh towels every day. A wonderful holiday!

“Quiet, sun filled vacation”

Very nice resort with picturous ocean views. The resort is a very close walk to beach type concession stands but far enough away not to detract from the resort. The half board package is worth it! Excellent food and service with beautiful outdoor dining. The resort has daily activities on the property or they can make arrangements through the various tour companies. I recommend just taking a taxi from the airport instead of one of the limo services. The taxi ride was about 12euros each way and check in at the airport is quick. Overall our week there was very enjoyable. We plan to return during Christmastime.

“Lovely surroundings”

We have just returned from a week in the Sheraton Fuerteventura and had a fabulously relaxing time. Room (quiet garden area) was perfect for us as it was a week of unwinding from work. Food in restaurants was very good although we did find mealtimes a bit frantic at times. We feel it would have been better to have a few more couples tables separate from the bigger family tables as the restaurant was busy at all times and not particularly relaxing. Having said that the overall holiday was a real break and we would certainly return.

“Evening Buffet Meal”

The breakfast buffet was excellent. One evening we decided to try the hotel evening buffet. We were very disappointed with the meal ,particularly the main course choices and the desserts. We thought that it was not value for money.
