Very good overall,good rooms,service, and environment.The food was OK, and drinks and snacks were fine. The best thing for me was that there was a proper and respected queuing system at the bars. The pools and surroundings were excellent, and the location to the beach and town was perfect.

We went all-inclusive and I would recommend this as there is not much around the hotel. The beach was lovely, the hotel was clean, the food was great and the drinks were strong. Entertainment was a little hit and miss and the dancers left a little to be desired! Overall though we had a great time - just be aware that the wind on the beach is strong!

Hotel is very well situated at a short distance from the beach. Swimming-pool is a delight.

I went to Fuerteventura for a week of sunshine and rest at the end of a dreadful, unremitting British winter: the Barcelo Jandia Playa was probably the best choice I could have made. From the outset, the staff - reception, restaurant, cleaning ladies - could not have possibly been more helfpul. I was given a nice room, everyone was always courteous and smiling, the breakfast was superb, and I could always choose between the many social spaces at the hotel and my privacy. I got everything I asked for: they certainly know how to treat their guests. Apart from the beach, 5 minutes walk from my room, there was no need to leave the hotel for anything else. I came back to London fully restored to brave the unexpetced fury of an Artic Easter. I enjoyed ever minute of my stay and will certainly be back. My many thanks to the entire staff of the Barcelo Jania Playa!

“Excellent all inclusive”

This hotel was brilliant for an all inclusive deal. Could not fault the food or the drinks & we as a family are quite fussy. The only criticism would be not knowing what is vegetarian as the food is not labelled and some items such as vegetable soup had meat in. We also thought the pool was acclimatised but was not so didn,t get to use it..
