“Almost perfect”

A first class hotel in an outstanding location albeit a little quiet for some tastes.. Excellent entertainment every night and first class food and facilities. In the interests of strict accuracy..... We slept in the widest bed I have ever seen (7 ft wide) IT WAS ALSO THE HARDEST I HAVE EVER SLEPT ON!!! There were no facilities for tea making in the room which was a pain for early risers since the restaurant was not open until 7.30 am. We are not the sort of customers who summon (or pay) for Room Service at 6am for a cup of tea! A pity because the hotel deserves 10/10 except for those minor moans.. We learned to live with the bed but not with the lack of early morning tea. We would definitely welcome another stay but would take with us - guess what!

“Good value short break”

Initially we were allocated a room directly overlooking the building opposite which was the evening entertainment area. We complained and were moved to a much better location without any problem. There seemed to be several other people requesting a change too so it appeared to be standard practice to try their luck allocating the bad rooms first! Other than that, hotel was nice, service average but food reasonably good (although limited choice at dinner if you don't like pork!) Beach and surrounding area all very nice although you do have to get used to being in the main flight path at certain times of the week. Also there were ALOT of children in the hotel which was fine but not at all what we were expecting!

“Not impressed.”

Our room although clean and reasonably comfortable ( although the beds were a bit on the hard side) it was located right next to an Irish bar which played VERY loud music from 10am to midnight every day of our stay. Also being on the bottom floor we had a terrace and not a balcony which would not have been a problem but for the fact the barrier between us and the outside world was a very high very dense hedge which cut out most of the sun and gave you no view unlike the balconies which were fronted by glass barriers. We opted for Dinner bed and breakfast but only used the restaurant once for dinner as the buffet was cold and unimaginative. They advertised an al a carte restaurant but it wasnt open. The four pools where supposed to be separated into 2 adult and 2 kids but this was not enforced. Reception staff were brusque and unhelpful. Finally I take exception to paying 10 euros deposit for each pool towel you wanted.
