First time at this hotel but found it to be as expected. Staff very helpful at all times. Food variety each day was excellent. Rooms although ok could do with some modernisation but still adequate for us. Will be returning again next year. There were a lot of repeat customers there which gives an indication of the quality of the available facilities.
"Super hotel, great location and views of beach/sea"
Great hotel, with helpful & friendly staff. Food was excellent both quality and choice and everywhere in the hotel looked clean. We stayed there, celebrating our silver wedding anniversary. We had requested a double bed, but the room had twin beds side by side. The room had great views of the beach and sea, it was really lovely being able to hear the waves. There was satellite TV as stated, but the UK choice could have been better and only offered news channels or the radio. There was a mini bar to use at extra cost, but tea/coffee making facilities would have been useful. Overall, very pleased and would definitely recommend as a place to stay.
We have stayed at 5 other hotels in this area but this one is just in the right place. If you go right or left out of the hotel you are always going to find a different place to eat or drink for that nights entertainment. We do prefer left because we love Las Boliches, all the little bars and restaurants at the back of the main drag are still so quaint and untouched. Dont forget to go down to the Marina. Loads of eating places down at the front. You can not explore this area in one visit, it is a very vast area that needs to be walked around and enjoyed. A bus to Mijas is a must. About 20mins from the bus station. It just has a bit of a wow factor about it. There is a great Tapas restaurant the opposite end to where you get off the bus in the square(next to a really expensive gift shop). Also go up the Stairs left of the Tapas eats and make your way to the viewing platform. There was 10 of us in our party. ages 27 to 64 and all had a great time. Cant wait to go back next year. PS Dont pay transfers. Get the train from Malaga Airport.
