Location was brilliant near a number of restaurants, shopping and quick walk into center. Rooms are lovely. Was there for marathon and one downside is restaurant that provides breakfast did not open early enough to accommodate runners.
Stayed here with husband for 4 nights from 4 November. Had a lovely room on the seventh floor with balcony overlooking the courtyard with settee and two matching chairs and low table at back as a separate sitting area. TV, coffee machine were on a unit in middle of room which also contained the mini bar. Safe in wardrobe unit. Had a loo and W/H basin, separate from the shower room which also had W/H basin. We didn't have breakfast included but on last morning decided to have this in hotel even although quite expensive. We enjoyed the treat as lots on offer and sorry we did not have room which included breakfast. Although cafes were close by suitable breakfast food was confined to croissants, pastries and sandwiches. Staff nice, meals served. Would highly recommend.
This was my third trip to Berlin and I think I have found my new favourite hotel. I booked two rooms for two couples over a long weekend through Expedia and got a great deal. The hotel is centrally located and very close to Stadmitte U station.
The only drawback with the hotel were that the rooms weren't air conditioned so it was a little warm at night even with the windows open, and open windows meant hearing the rubbish truck early on Monday morning.
I also have a complaint around the payment of the hotel. We booked with Expedia to pay on checkout but a few days before check in the funds were requested from my account (but not authorised) this meant I could not access these funds for anything else and my original plan to have the two couples pay on check out resulted in me not being able to use that money until check out anyway. A real pain.
As I say, the stay was great but the fact that they requested the funds before even the cancellation deadline was irritating.

We didnt want a fancy hotel, just somewhere clean and comfortable in a good location which is exactly what this hotel offered. Perfect for a weekend in Berlin. The location meant we could walk to just about every place we wanted to visit.

The location is prime, for the price you pay, the hotel offers a great offer of restaurants, public transportation options and attractions in walking distance. We slept very well, the room was always clean and the staff very kind and helpful.
The hotel had a very friendly atomsphere as soon as we set foot. The staircase gave the room a beautiful centre piece and room was great. My only issue was the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out!
The hotel was excellent, the rooms were of a very high standard and even the non-cathedral view rooms still have a pleasant view of the internal courtyard and are not overlooked.
The hotel bar is a little expensive but the food is delicious and of good quality, I did not eat in the restaurant.
The gym and pool area are well equipped and free to guests, if you have time on your trip it is worth visiting these for a little time out.
All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The concierge is helpful and honest which is a bonus.
We were also able to check into our rooms early so if you do arrive before check in it is worth going to the hotel to see if your room is ready.
