I quite accidentally booked this hotel but in hind sight turned out to be a good decision. The Hotel is very well located in the downtown area with easy access to public transport. I also felt hotel staff to be welcoming and helped me out with tips on getting around. Overall felt like money well spend staying at this hotel.
An excellent hotel which was randomly picked and glad it was. The staff such as Phillip, Lukas and Mr Vegemite were very helpful and accommodating. The room was excellent and the central location was awesome. 10 out of 10

The Melia Berlin was an excellent choice for a long weekend. We checked in early but our room wasn't ready until 3pm, we went for a walk and returned later to be given our room card, it was room 650, we were surprised that it had a great view of the bridge and the river Spree, the room itself was of a good size for a European hotel and even though it was two single beds when we asked them it was made up as a double bed. We found that all the staff were happy to chat and gave us information on the attractions and a map with everything highlighted. Berlin is a must place to visit as there is so much to see, we will definitely go back again.
Location was brilliant near a number of restaurants, shopping and quick walk into center. Rooms are lovely. Was there for marathon and one downside is restaurant that provides breakfast did not open early enough to accommodate runners.
Location was great...within 100 meters of checkpoint charlie and 200 meters of the U bahn. Just a 10 minute walk to Brandenburg Gate and Unter den Linde. Other sights are slightly farther away. However, great transportation system throughout this huge city. Hotel was clean. Staff seemed a bit cold. But, didn't affect our stay. Would stay there again!
A very good, central spot, great as a base for sight seeing. Our room was very big and clean. It's not particularly fancy - it's basically like an upmarket travel lodge - but generally nice. I was a bit annoyed to be charged 12 euro a night for a travel cot, which I thought was a bit mean. otherwise, good.
