Ok Stay

Posted 11-Dec-2014
Pros: The evening front desk staff.
Cons: Clean it up!! It's old and tired.
Location: Plenty of food choices.
So, I usually do not fill these out. However being a business traveler this may be of some importance. The building to the right of the hotel on the 3rd floor does ont have internet service. They then attempted to put me on the 2nd floor. Still not internet service. However it did work in the lobby on the 1st floor. Then I was transferred to a different building where the manager attempted to put me in a room with the router. The table was laying there broken on the floor and he thought thtat was acceptable?? So then he transferred my to a different room where the internet worked. Using a remote desk for travel, internet is very important in what I do. Front of the main lobby is clean. The rest of the facility is very dirty and out dated. My bathroom had what looked like and old "booger stain" in the bathroom on the wall that was dried and dripping by the toilet. That lamp fixture was torn. The carperts were filthy in the room and the stairs and hallways. Beds were ok. That all being said, you can't judge a book by the picture. I do want to say that the front desk on the evening shift of Monday Dec 8th, were very accomodating and very pleasent! That is about all this place currently has to offer.

Good for the price

Clean quite room. The first impression in the lobby and office seems untidy, otherwise ok for the price.

Central location in Fresno.

Posted 01-Dec-2014
Pros: Free continental breakfast, that we never woke up to enjoy.
Cons: Room service be more professional. There was children handling the request.
Location: Walking distance to Fresno State football games, it's centrally located in Fresno.
The hotel has gone down in quality throughout the years.

Big rooms is the best thing about this place.

Needs updating badly. Most noticeable is the filthy carpet and is probably responsible for the stale, funky smell that permeates the whole place and the room we stayed in. The bed was very comfortable and we all slept well.

Thanksgiving Downer

Posted 29-Nov-2014
Room #344. As you walk into the room, the smell hits you. Like something might be dead between the walls. No remote for TV, had to call for one. No maid service, had to call for towels. Breakfast in AM, extremely minimal. We've stayed here before with an average stay, can't believe it went down hill this much in two years. New management?

Glad we did not cancel

Posted 28-Nov-2014
Pros: Quiet and clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Cons: The only thing that could be improved would be an off swith on the automatic light in the entrance of the room.
Location: We only stayed that night on the way to another location, and did not do anything else while there.
We had thought we had made a mistake in planning our tirp in that we had put ourselves more than 2 hours away from the hotel with our small children. My wife thought that we should cancel this hotel in favor of one a little closer. I am glad we decided to press on and stayed there. The beds were soft, the room was quiet and clean, the breakfast was good and filling, and the staff was nice. I would and already have recommended this hotel to others. I do not believe I could have beat it for the price. We were very pleasently surpirsed.
