Older hotel, but very well kept up. Absolutely no issues. Very clean, good size, comfortable, and very good breakfast. Breakfast was not just your run of the mill packaged stuff. We stayed with about 20 people, and there were no complaints

Hote rooml was huge, super spacious, clean, and bed was comfortable. Lobby area, eating area, restrooms, and overall decoror was lovely. Nice place to call home for special occasions,honeymoons, or just a family get away. Buffet breakfast was awesome, plenty of food, and a nice selection to fill you up to start your day. Friendly customer service and staff. I would have expected to pay more for this type of hotel and for the service we got.

“Perfect for a relaxing Fresno visit!”

Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Free wi fi for guest. Beautiful outdoor pool area. The night clerk, Bob, checked me in and was very polite and friendly. /As a matter of fact Bob politely switched us rooms to a room with a slider because the hotel doesn't allow smoking in the rooms (I am a daily smoker). I personally don't mind having to go outside because the comfort and atmosphere of the room was more important to me. Even my daughters 13 and 19 liked the hotel better than one we had previously used in Fresno near the airport, and asked if this is where I would be staying from now on. I will stay atthe University Square Hotel from now on during my visits to Fresno.

“Huge room!”

The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was excellent but ended too early for my taste (9 am). There was lots of commonsareas to sit and relax outside the rooms with nice couches and/or chairs and coffee tables. There was a nice bar and lounge area in the lobby. Oh, and a small fridge in the room. Overall, a great value. Definitely worth it.

“homey hometown hotel”

Friendly staff, bar within 20 feet of front door, helped me find three different nearby movie theatres, just good people, in a good area, and a good place to stay.

The University Square Hotel was clean, well-located and reasonably priced. I will definitely return if I need to be in Fresno.
