Excellent stay in a well maintained hotel.

Posted 20-Oct-2014
Pros: Food! Whirlpool. Friendly staff.
Location: On Shaw (a very good thoroughfare). Chase, Wholefoods, AAA, and a host of other things, like restaurants, and grocery stores are within a mile.
The Shaw Piccadilly is a large hotel. It has a pool, and more importantly a whirlpool. It is in a good part of town. It has a bar with big screen TV. In the morning it has a hot breakfast included: fruit (apples, oranges, bananas), pastries and toast, fresh pancakes from a cool machine, cereal, milk, scrambled eggs, sausages, awesome potatoes, oatmeal, tea, coffee, juice, milk, and more. Comfortable beds. Relatively quiet. Free Internet. I highly recommend it and will be coming back.

Nice staff outdated rooms

Posted 19-Oct-2014
Very outdated and smelly rooms, everything in the room is old, many things in bad shape. Noisy equipment maybe air conditioning or a water pump just outside our room, could hear it all night. Old carpet, old and broken lamps, old tables, old wall paper actually starting to peel off, old tile in the bathroom, cheap shower curtains, etc.

Basic hotel

Posted 17-Oct-2014
Pros: The pool has nice setting in middle of unattractive accommodation. Breakfast was reasonable.
Cons: The decor was very dull. The pillows were uncomfortable and felt old and the smell was very unpleasant.
Location: Reasonable location some shops and restaurants nearby.
Hotel corridor and room.smelt like nursing home. Kitchen closed at 9 pm so we h ad very mistreating options locally after long drive to get there. Very basic hotel.

It worked well. Close to air port and relatives.

Posted 02-Oct-2014
Pros: It was clean and quiet. We rested well. No street noise or loud neighbors. Food was good too and lots of it.
Cons: You are doing a great job. Just hope it stays in such good condition and repairs are made to keep it looking nice.
Location: Close to Whole Foods where we love to shop. Easy access to the freeway for traveling around. There are movie theaters and lots of nice stores.
Hotel was nice and quiet. Food was good. Workers were very nice and helpful. Room needs a few minor repairs but great deal for the price. Comfy bed, every thing worked ! Room was very clean. I think next time I might request a down stairs room because my husband has bad knees and it's hard for him to climb stairs while carrying luggage. I forgot to ask about a ground floor room.

It fit our needs

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Pros: The staff was very accommodating.
We were at a reunion, so it was fine. We asked for adjoining rooms with some friends. They wouldn't commit when we requested it by phone prior to our stay. But they did provide them together when we checked in. We had to get new magnetic keys about 3 times. They could use some updating of that system. The breakfast was not that great, but if you just wanted to fill your stomach, it was adequate. It was an adequate facility that served its purpose.

Huskers vs Bulldogs 9/13/14

Posted 23-Sep-2014
Cons: The fan in the bathroom didn't work, but I let the staff know and they immediately sent someone to repair the fan.
Location: We were in Fresno for the Husker vs Bulldogs football game. We went to the Fresno zoo before the game.
The Piccadilly Inn Shaw was exceptional! Room was very clean and tidy. Continental breakfast was fabulous! It was just a really great weekend and wonderful stay in Fresno.
