“Favorite place to stay by Clovis”

The hotel was excellent to stay at, all employees were very friendly and helpful.

Area recommendations

A lot of choices of places to eat, head north down Clovis, plenty of places to eat and shopping very close to hotel.

we just passed by on our way to los angeles, so this location is quite good for us in terms of easy in and out.. its a bit noisy in the morning as it located next to airport and military base/ air force...

“staying tp work the Greek Food Festival”

The hotel is very close to the airport so use is very convenient. Hotel is very clean with a very hospitable staff.

“Not Impressed”

The good thing about the Picadilly Inn is its proximity to the airport. If you are looking at a quick place to overnight - this is a good option. However, the rooms leave a lot to be desired. Our rooms were on the second floor and we were very surprised there are no elevators! we had to lug our heavy suitcases up the long flight of stairs. They should at least have a service elevator to take suitcases and luggage up! The rooms were comfortable but old and tired looking. the mirrors on the bathrooms had brown stains.

The hotel is very close to the airport but the overall neighborhood is scary. The hotel locks its doors at night and you have to ring the bell after hours to get in.

“Handy to Fresno Airport”

This hotel needs updating, but was very convenient, safe, and suited our purposes just fine. It had a lovely old-school pool and jacuzzi surrounded by lawn and old shade trees, which was so inviting considering the 100-degree August day! Well maintained and clean, my main gripe was with the perfunctory, unhelpful front desk staff and the stuffy, cigarette-smoke imbued common areas. I read that the property is changing hands, so hopefully some of these relatively minor issues will be addressed.

“Enjoyed Stay”

Only problem was the key cards for our rooms and entrance to the hotel kept failing and we had to go to the front desk to have them reiussed twice during a 5-day stay.

“The T.V!”

I would have given the Picadilly a 5 if not for the TV. The closed captioning feature did not work too well as the TV was an old model.(I am Deaf and need cc to be able to watch TV). Usually, the TV would not be an issue but after 10 days camping in the backwoods, it would be nice to find out what's been going on in the world!

“Trip to Fresno to See My Father, Great Hotel!”

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel! Everyone there was so nice and the accomodations were excellent! Will stay there again!
