“Very Satisfied”
My cousin and I stayed at this motel in Fresno (W. Shaw) for the first time, and I was very pleased with how clean and nice smelling my room was. It was with the 2 queen size beds and I thought the bed was comfortable enough, plus the heater worked. For the price it was a good deal although there was no hair dryer or coffee maker in the room, but they served different kinds of coffee in the office so we got our coffees which was good. I would stay there again when I go back to visit with my family.
“Convenient and Clean”
The only issue about the room I had was the flooring. Under the carpeting were uneven and bulky lumps throughout the room. It wasn't pleasing to the feet or shoes because it was uneven. Other than that, it was clean, had fridge and microwave, bed was comfy and adequate for the stay coming from a low-budget motel.
“one week in Fresno California”
Good clean place to stay at when your away from home. Good clean place to sleep at because we did not spend time there during the day time. But did sleep there every night. Good rate for what they have to offer. Keep up the good work. Thank you and have a good New Year
“Last choice in Fresno”
I thought Motel 6 means good quality but this one is a total bummer! Sheets burnt by cigarettes, nasty carpet and everything looking old and used. Someone slipped those little paper cards into the windows of cars parked in the yard...
“not impressed”
Fire alarm went off in middle of night.firetruck showed up sirens blarin not a very clean room I guess you get what you pay for.
“Don't Book Standard King”
Upon arrival I was helped by the gentleman at the Front Desk. He was very helpful and courteous. Once we checked in he informed us that the "Standard Kings" booked on Expedia are in the back with no parking, in the dark, and most disturbing facing the fwy. There was a chain link face seperating our front door and the fwy. The noise from the fwy made it impossible to sleep and the bed had a huge sink hole. When I asked if I could upgrade to a room facing the front of the hotel I was told I had to call Expedia to make the changes. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again due to the location and uncomfortable bed.
“Ten feet from the Freeway!”
I stayed at this Motel 6 again because of an Expedia promotion. Once again, the motel staff did the little things to annoy me. First, although I booked a business king room, they insisted I had one of their "standard king" rooms and would not move me. It was clear on my emailed reservation. The thing about their "standard king" rooms is that they are literally ten feet from the two way freeway on/off ramp with trucks and other traffic chugging through ALL NIGHT LONG. I knew this from previous stays, so booked the business king on purpose. Nonetheless, they would not move me. Overall, the staff here seems to be somewhat indifferent about accommodating travelers, one of the reasons I have taken all my repeat business to other motels in town. Otherwise, this Motel 6 is about average as Motel 6 properties go. It is not one of the recently refreshed ones, so the furniture is just a little banged up, the carpets just a little dingy. The pool is pretty good, and if you get a room away from the freeway they are reasonably quiet.
“Would not return.”
Bare bones hotel room. Very loud and continuous freeway noise.
“Motel Freeway”
Motel was very old, had holes in the wall and pillows were worst than terrible. The non-smoking was in the back, in the dark and almost on the freeway. Arrived late and was a little afraid to walk in the dark to get around to the backside of this Motel.
“GROSS!!!”
I have stayed in Motel 6s and none were as gross as this one. The only reason we didn't leave is because of our tight budget, which Motel 6 has usually always CLEANLY accomodated. I really believe if had I asked them to move us it would have been just as awful in any other room. We stayed two nights, 2 days and late-ish on the 2nd night I went to pull out the office chair to do my homework and there was pet hairs of all kinds all over it and a white dusty looking substance in the form of someone's crotch!! I was tired and didn't call the office but KNOW that I should have. We were checking out the next morning when I absolutely said something about all of this to the desk clerk. I did my homework over breakfast at IHOP. The only thing I can say is the sheets were clean and the floor did at least look fairly vaccuumed but even my 16 year old SON was unimpressed and noticed the gross! We laughed only because we had no choice and refused to cry!
