“Will not go back”

I didn't watch close enough and made my reservation at the wrong LaQuinta. This is not a nice area of town at all. The bathroom fan was noisy and there was no way to shut it off. Clerk moved me to another room and it had the same issue. Asked for a quiet room and two trains and lots of trucks went by in the night. Out of orange juice for breakfast. Sausages cold. Eggs overdone. Furniture in lobby very visably dirty. Not a pleasant experience at all!

River park. Much nicer area of town.

“Would go to again if in the area”

Staff was great - very friendly & helpful with finding places to eat in the area. Was very clean and comfortable. They have a pool and hot tub, we used the hot tub, was nice but could use better lighting at night in the pool area.

“Midnight Fire Alarm”

As for the hotel it's self it was ok... the breakfast was less to be desired however... and i had to go somewhere else to get a good cup of coffee... during the second night of our stay at 11:30 pm the firealarm started going off and then again at 3:30,5:30, and so on.. in the a.m. we checked out and went to another hotel for the remander of our stay..

“I Shall Return!”

Whenever if ever I go back to Fresno, I will be staying at La Quinta. The staff were absolutely cool, with the shining star of it all, Ronnie the night manager, stealing the show! H was new to the job and the area, but didn't hesitate to find info for me if he didn't already know. He should be groomed for upper level management, and he should be showing everyone how to be. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Period. Don't let him get away from you!

“Giving Marriott a run for its money...”

I was especially impressed with La Quinta after staying there for three days, then going over to Marriott for an extra day. Marriott did not compare. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room, the courtesy of the staff, and the complimentary breakfast. My only issue was with the lack of parking spaces in the parking lot on Saturday, but other days were not an issue.

Getting there

Although the address is on Cornelia, the hotel appears more on Golden State Blvd. I am from Fresno, and I still had a difficult time seeing the street name. The hotel signage was what let me know I was close by.

“Great New Hotel in Fresno, CA”

We were very pleased with this LaQuinta. It's a new hotel, so everything was nice and fresh! Staff were pleasant and helpful from the moment we checked in all the way through checking out. The breakfast was great also. I needed a quiet place to meditate for a for minutes and was allowed to sit in the meeting room to do so. I also took advantage of the business center to print something from my computer. I highly recommend this hotel!

Not sure what area of town where the hotel is located, but I would recommend that area.

“Best La Quinta I've been to”

I've been to several La Quintas and this is by far the best one I've been to. It was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable.

“Loved Loved Loved It!!”

Great place to stay. Clean and Friendly Staff...the most comfortable bed I have slept on in a Hotel!!
