Hotel's design is an open air center with the all the rooms surrounding it. We arrived on a weekend where a party and a wedding reception were being held. The noise from the music, despite being told we would be far away from it, were still very audible through the closed door of our room. Avoid if you need to sleep early on the weekends if a party happens to be booked down below.

Not the worst hotel I've stayed in but if I have to go back to Fresno, I don't think I'll stay here again. The parking lot has a bird issue so beware if you are driving a car and be careful when walking to the front entrance to not get nailed as they fly overhead. They were remodeling a lot of the rooms and the common areas so improvements are being made. The bed & pillows were too soft for my liking but that's just a personal preference. You could hear the water running in the room next to yours when someone was in the shower/bathroom. The train could also be heard in the middle of the night/early morning.

Nice hotel for being in fresno

Staff was good. Few delay on things we asked, but they were acomplished. Hotel under some construction, not much noise. Did not see or use pool area.

hotel is improving

Pros: The restaurant food was exceptional
Cons: finalize renovation - place shows lots of promise! I will return if I need to stay in Fresno downtown area
Location: not much nearby except the convention center
rooms are tired however hotel is undergoing renovation and I happened to be on a floor not yet improved upon. They did warn me so I wasn't surprised. They did have new beds in the room but otherwise, everything was tired and in need of upgrade. Lot's of towels were provided and they were fluffy.

Fun Hotel, Zusatzleistungen (Wlan, SPA) teuer!

Wir waren dort fuer 4 Tage. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, ist aber, wie wohl alle Hotels in Vegas, eine Spielhölle. Wlan kostet extra, es gibt einen Pool, aber der ist gerade 3 feet tief :-) Also eher etwas um damit die Beine zu kühlen...

Where are the restaurants?

No Dining within walking distance and not a safe place to walk. Mattress was poor (used to have Dial-A-Firmness beds?), although linens and pillows were nice. Hopefully the transition to DoubleTree will correct the quality of the sleeping surface.

For local dining options, the front desk representatives are happy to give you recommendations. New beds are coming! We do have a restaurant, lounge and coffee shop as well as a Pizza Hut Express located at the hotel. The front desk can refer several nearby restaurants for guests looking to get out of the hotel to dine. Thank you for the review.

under renovation

Walls were way to thin could hear room next door and they were renovating the place so they were working on other rooms at 8 in the morning banging on stuff with hammers. Pictures were missing from above beds leaving three ugly screws showing where pictures once hung. Sleep number bed was fantastic once I went and asked front desk to send maintenance man with battery for remote on second night would have got battery first night but we got in at 11 pm and for some reason the remote for my kids bed was missing not a big deal cause there kids but glad we picked or bed at random and picked the one that worked
