Clean but a lot of train noise.

Hotel needs to upgrade sound insulation as the train is very close and runs all night - not good for business travelers interested in a good nights rest.

Though we do have double-paned windows to reduce exterior noise, we also do offer free earplugs upon request for guests who are light sleepers or who are finding noise bothersome. Please do not hesitate to ask how we can be of assistance.

Exhausted after a night of no sleep

When we checked in we noticed there was an event taking place at the convention center next door. We were told there was a rave taking place. We were also informed that there were a couple of wedding parties staying at the hotel. We were assured we would be in a quiet room. After we returned from a retirement party we went to the bar to have a drink and something to eat. As we were getting ready to go back to our room one of the wedding parties came in. The hotel is in a rectangle with an atrium in the middle with rooms facing Inward. Between the wedding party partying in the bar and ravers coming back to their room in the middle of the night we got almost no sleep. We called the desk around midnight and again around 6:30 AM. It sounded like there was a group of ravers in the room right next to us and they were yelling and screaming all night. We mentioned this when we checked out the next morning and the two ladies apologized, offered us breakfast or coffee but we just wanted to get home. We had a 3 1/2 hour drive. All of the other staff were really nice, the hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. However, we should have been given a better room- farther away from the racers- especially since we were told we would be placed in a quiet area. Ver disappointing and we were exhausted

Though we attempted to locate you in an area away from these guests, guests do not always let us know the reason for their visit. Double Tree @ Fresno

Hotel service was 4 out of 5 because the computers on the business center were very slow and the Map Quest site would not print directions. Had to go to my room, do it from my laptop and put it on a thumb drive. Then went back down and printed instructions from the USB.

We appreciate the feedback and will look into the issues experienced in our business center. They are new computers and we've recently upgraded our wifi bandwidth, so this should not be an ongoing issue.

Enjoyed my Stay

I stayed for four nights; was gone most of the day on business. There is not much to do in Fresno, so having a bar and a restaurant in house was a plus. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. If staying in Fresno, I highly recommend this place. I stayed at another hotel the last time I was in Fresno and it sucked.

Wonderful Stay

The hotel was beautiful and clean and the staff very kind and helpful. My wife and I stayed there for an event at the Fresno Convention Center and the hotel was perfectly located for an event there.

Friendly staff

Pros: The bed was terrific. I liked the couch/sitting area in the room. Towels were fresh and clean. The room service was quick and excellent.
Cons: The luggage service was slow in helping me but speedy in getting the luggage to my room. Could offer a health conscious menu with calorie/fat count.
Location: Not much to do nearby but was busy with a conference.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful...suprising because they were totally booked for a conference.

Great location, great staff

Pros: location to Sellend Arena, right out their double doors across the street to see Disney on Ice.
Cons: Nothing........
Great location, right across from Convention center. This hotel has just been taken over by Hilton and it was awesome. The staff was amazing. The breakfast buffet was delicious. I would recommend this hotel over and over again.
