“Satisfied!!!”

We were very satisfied with this hotel. We will definitely stay here again if we come back this area.

“I'd go back”

Convenient to highway and supermarket and restaurants, but off the main drag. I'd like to experience the other side (with a view) next time). I did not try breakfast because there were so many guests at the hotel. My choice, not theirs.

When to go
I suggest the middle of the week as Fredericksburg can get very crowded on the weekends

“Great Stay”

We really enjoyed our stay at Inn on Baron's Creek. The room was nice and large and plenty of room for our girls weekend. We also really enjoyed the spa, very nice and relaxing.

“Great customer service!”

We spent 2 days in Fredericksburg for our anniversary and the staff couldn't have been any better. Their tour and dinner suggestions were right on the mark AND they even left a beautiful vase of flowers and anniversary card for us in the room after one of our days in town. We will definitely stay at the Inn on Baron's Creek the next time we visit Fredericksburg!

Area recommendations
Antique shoppers should especially visit the outskirts of town (either end of Main Street) for the best value and variety of antique shops. Lone Star, Alamo and Red Baron were three of the shops we were really impressed with.
Dining
Two great restaurants are the Cabernet Grille and the Navajo Grill. Both have an excellent menu and wine selection at reasonable prices. Host/hostesses and wait staff were all excellent!

“Comfortable but room for improvement”

My husband and I stayed at this hotel before about 5 years ago. This time we brought our kids. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel is in a great location (walking distance from shops and restaurants). There were a couple of negatives: the service was not quite up to par. The front desk daytime receptionist was not very friendly. Also, pool is small and was crammed with people the first evening we arrived. Pool toys are left for the guests which is great except that one of them broke and little beads were all over the pool and they were still there 2 days later. The workout room is small and the equipment is worn and there were no clean towels when I was in there. My biggest disappointment happened when there was a sign in the lobby for complimentary 5 minute chair massages available at a certain time. My daughter and I rushed back to the hotel and were told it had been canceled, however, when my husband returned an hour or so later he said the massage therapist was in the lobby and was packing her things! Overall, this is a nice hotel and I would recommend it, but I am thinking of trying somewhere else next time.

Love the area by the Nimitz Museum with all the shops and restaurants.

“Beautiful hotel at a very reasonable price, great location”

Very nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. The property inside and out was beautiful and well maintained. Located very close to Main Street (within walking distance when not 100+ degrees outside!)

“Lovely”

We really "shopped" online for a good choice in this idyllic town since we were coming west from LBJ country and were told "don't miss Fredericksburg". The reviews of Inn at Baron Creek were rather mixed, and so we were a little wary. But not to worry - it is a terrific place and an excellent value. Couldn't be better. Hey, its not the Ritz Carleton, so don't expect anything lavish, but it beats out most Holiday Inn Express and their ilk by a long shot. Be sure to go to the tearoom for lunch (Adams St.). The shopping is enchanting and the War of the Pacific Museum was a wonderful surprise and delight.

Area recommendations
The main drag. Really fun and interesting. The restaurants are plentiful and good. The museum is fabulous and the local architecture is enchanting.
