“Great, but ask for top floor”

No soundproofing or not thick enough floors--upstairs guests sounded like a herd of rhinos. Otherwise, great!

“Our favorite hotel in Kerrville”

We go to Kerrville about 8 times a year. We always try to stay at the Holiday Inn. The rooms are extremely spacious. The beds are comfortable. The Texas shaped pool is very nice. We love the breakfast with Holiday Inn's signature cinnamon rolls, and we really like the new pancake maker!

“Best Hotel in Kerrville”

My husband and I have property in Kerrville and travel there about 6 times a year to do maintenance on our property. This was the 4th place we stayed in Kerrville, and it was by far the best. Nice lobby, best breakfast of all the hotels offering free continental breakfast, and extremely spacious rooms. Love the pool too - shaped like the state of Texas. Since we found this place, we haven't stayed anywhere else.

“Nice”

I've stayed in a few HIE and this is probably the nicest one I've stayed in...huge room. Loved the space. Only consistent knock is on the coffee at breakfast. This is true at many hotel breakfasts and I generally have low expectations of these complimentary breakfasts. It's unfortunate that the coffee is simply bad. Other than that common flaw, it was a great place to stay. They had lawn service that day and their Texas-shaped pool (which was really great otherwise) was filled will a lot of grasshoppers and crickets...dead...some were rather chopped up. My 12 year-old got in and then promptly got out. He couldn't stand it. The rest of us swam and just lived with the problem. It was unfortunate. There were a lot of live grasshoppers and crickets on the property...they appeared to be trying to deal with the problem some but as of our visit, it was not apparent that they were having much success. They do need to find a way to exterminate these pests. It's desert and nature...no biggie but there were an awful lot of them around. Not a problem for our room...just the lobby entrance, parking lot, swimming pool, etc. Overall, the hotel is excellent and I'd recommend this one.

“Nice for the Price”

I was greeted by a friendly clerk who quickly checked me in. My room was clean and cool and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast had both hot and cold items which was a tasty surprise. Check out was a snap. Good location, close to highway and dining. Would stay here again if visiting Kerrville.

“Great place”

Very clean hotel. Extremely nice and helpful staff. The rooms were very nice and spacious and the beds were EXCELLENT! My child loved the Texas shaped pool and fountains, while we enjoyed the star shaped hot tub. Definaely will stay here again.

“Very Good overall”

Nice room but a little overpriced. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was too. The bathroom needed a significant sheetrock/wallpaper repair which the manager said would happen. The king size bed was real nice. The tv remote/cable system was very hard to use. The tv sat very low on the desk making it a little hard to see when laying down.

“Good value in Kerrville”

I was pleasantly surprised at my recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Kerrville. I was in Kerrville overnight on business, and the hotel perfectly met my needs. The room was very large, really a suite, with plenty of room to spread out, and it was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the heat was adjustable in the room. There's free wifi, so I could work in the room. The staff was very accommodating and the included breafast was standard fare for this caliber hotel. The hotel is set off the main drag, and the entrance is not terribly well-marked, so it's a little hard to find. However, it's very quiet because it's away from traffic. The workout faciliaties are minimal, with a coulple of treadmills and an elliptical. The pool would be great in warmer weather. I would definitely stay there again if I need to be in Kerrville.
