“Beautiful area”

The hotel appears very new and luxurious for the area. It was close to everything in Fredricksburg. The room itself with the balcony disappointed me, as we wanted a non smoking room. From our entrance in the room, we noticed a stale tobacco smell. I later realized that you could smoke on the balcony, and I guess guests have smoked in the room as well. I wish that fact had been revealed to us before booking. Also, the configuration of the room was odd, and there was no microwave or small frig in there. There was room, and for the money we paid, I was surprised and disappointed that there were none there.

A refreshing change from some of the awful hotels we stayed in. would definitely stay there again.
