“just okay”

the hotel was okay, not great, but not horrible. the only thing is, it cost a LOT per night. for that price, i expect better than "okay". and the restaurant they sent us to for our "free breakfast" (but dont expect your coffee, juice or tip to be free) was packed and the service was, again, just "okay".

“Quiet and Clean”

The hotel was older, but it was very clean, the free breakfast was ok, I'm glad it was free. It was pretty quiet were our room was located. It was a little overpriced in my opinion.

“Nothing special”

This motel is nothing special but comparable to most others I stayed at in this price range. It was convenient and relatively comfortable enough for the price. The room was large but the A/C was loud as in many hotels. It also did not keep the humidity level in the room very low. Shower temperatures were inconsistent and varied while showering. Power outlets for charging phones/computers/etc. were inconveniently located except for one and that one required that the bathroom light be turned left on. There is a $10/day charge for pets which was reasonable. There are nearby grassy areas where you can walk your dog. A limited-menu breakfast is made available at no charge at the Santo Cayote restaurant next door. Beverages and additional items are available for an additional charge. The food and service was good. My only complaint was that service did not start until 7am.

“Will not return”

When staying at a hotel my most important requirement is a comfortable bed. That requirement was not met at Kerrville's Best Western and their housekeeping was barely acceptable. I have an aging parent living in Kerrville so I frequently stay in hotels there. I won't return to Best Western in Kerrville.

“TOO SOFT”

The beds are way too soft. My husband and I will be suffering with back pain for a week or more. They took away the extra towels from the 1st night. The place was clean and the folks were nice.
