The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Great bed, awesome bathroom and shower. So far the best hotel we've been to on our trip to Italy.
2 comments: both parking and WiFi were open to all visitors of the hotel facilities. There was a bit of an issue with the parking (we were even blocked once by someone who came to the snack bar, the doorman was kind enough to go find the owner of the car for us). Also the internet was slow. It would be nice if guests of the hotel had dedicated parking and a password protected WiFi.
Hotel Flora is a classy and sophisticated hotel. Beautiful garden full of water fountains and large Camilia trees and a lawn for guests to sit out and enjoy. A very large and spacious lobby with an elevator to the rooms. Staff are very discreet and friendly. The air conditioned room was very light, airy with a large bed and modern furnishings with a generous terrace (with a table and chairs) giving a sensational view of the trees, hills and grand old villas in the distance. Sky TV was available with scores of channels in several languages. The marble bathroom was huge with all the usual furnishings of a grand hotel. The shower was a bit tricky but it was OK in the end.Breakfast was a feast, no complaints at all.The staff were very kind and friendly. Road noise was not a problem at all, the hotel was very quiet so sleep was not interrupted.
A wonderful, luxurious experience.

We wanted to stay in Frascati while visiting our daughter who is working there, but also wanted to be able to visit Rome. The hotel is extremely conveniently situated just a few minutes walk from Frascati railway station. It gave us all the facilities we were looking for, including a triple suite so our daughter could stay with us on her day off. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel itself has a restaurant with a very good reputation, but unfortunately it was closed on Sunday and Monday while we were staying.

Located on a substantial piece of land amidst vineyards in Frascati, Italy, this hotel is lovely and restful. We stayed in the suite on the top (4th) floor, which is very large with an equally large terrace and a panoramic view of the area. Quite beautiful. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and there's a terrific restaurant that shares the building with the hotel. Good food and very friendly service from the owners. Although they speak no English and we speak no Italian, we got the food we wanted, well prepared and very reasonably priced. There is another pleasant restaurant immediately next door and still a third a few steps away (which we did not try). It is a short drive into the city of Frascati--old, quaint, and very lively. All in all, a lovely place, which we were sorry to leave to return home.

"Fantastic quiet hotel short train ride from Rome"
Absolutely fabulous hotel outside of Rome near to town of Frascati. The owner doesn't speak a word of English which made it slightly harder but more entertaining too! Very nice room, clean and well-kept.
In Frascati there is a quick train to Rome which is perfect as you can spend the day in Rome then head back to this hotel to avoid the noise at night.
A lovely traditional restaurant just up the road from the hotel too with a vast choice of wines!
"Superb location with beautiful period furnishings. Ideal if you have your own transport."
Beautiful villa with panoramic views. Local appointments made it an ideal base. Hidden away so not easy to find. Best to have a car which we did so didn't try the shuttle bus. Atmosphere peaceful, staff helpful, courteous + unintrusive. 4 single ensuite rooms on 5th floor were smallish but clean with comfortable beds, crisp linen, towels + toiletries + fridge with drinks + snacks. No kettle. If you want a glass box hotel it's not for you. Instead period charm + furniture in romantic environment. Superb, abundant breakfast presented beautifully, wide choice of beverages, cereals, yoghurts, juices, enormous macedonia fruit bowl, masses of croissants, breads, preserves, cheese and ham cold cuts. Sadly appointments prevented us from spending more time exploring the surroundings and relaxing in the hotel. If you want to discover the Castelli area which is a beautiful scenic area including countless fantastic restaurants, to which massive numbers of Romans flock on Sundays, hotel is a great base but not convenient for touring Rome, just a bit too far away. Internet not available in the rooms but computer for accessing emails. Would certainly return there again but probably could not afford the usual rates. I will be on the lookout for future offers and discounts though.
