“Holiday Inn Express was as usual”

Overall the hotel was ok. I had to choose a hotel around Frankfurt Main HBF and choose the Holiday Inn as I am familiar with their service. The condition and quality of the hotel was as expected. The breakfast service at this hotel was very good compared to the equivalents in the US.

“good and cheap”

very nice room with free breakfast buffet. very cheap. it was far but if you take the train from airport to main train station and then taxi which cost less

“Hotel worked out well for our family”

Stayed with our two kids for a night before flying out of Frankfurt. The hotel was a good deal and the staff were friendly and helpful. The airport was a 20 min drive to the airport.

“WIll stay in this hotel anytime I visit Frankfurt”

Stayed couple of nights on 2 different occasions on my recent trip. Hotel is 5 min with Taxi from Frankfurt Hauptbonhoff, however it is 10-15 min walk from S-Bahn stop. Great friednly English speaking staff with good comfotable and clean rooms. Will stay there anytime I visit Frankfurt.

“Cheap stay but watch out for add-ons!”

This was my third stay at the holiday Inn Express Frankfurt-Messe and although I got the room at a cheap price, there was a 12 EUR a day extra fee for parking. Also, I was not aware that there was an in-room fee for high-speed internet (I accessed the wireless in the lobby for free.) These extra fees added 40% onto my total bill. Parking should be free and included for hotel guests, and so should internet access. These should be standard courtesies for hotel guests in the 21st century!

“Excellent hotel value”

The hotel is well located and offer an excellent rate for the quality of the hotel. We had a small inconvenient since there was not warning regarding the use of Internet in room for a fee. We were told during the check out that we had to pay for the use of the internet in the room and a warning was indicated in the cable which we did not see. The person in the reception was kind of rude since he told us that we should read the hotel conditions. I was just reviewing the booking confirmation and the statement says "High-speed Internet access", but there is no indication that it would be for a fee.

“Very Good, would stay here again”

We enjoyed our stay here. Our only quibble is that we found the main bed mattress too bouncy. The sofa bed worked very well. The breakfast was very good and the room was sensibly laid out especially the bathroom. It was quite up-to-date. The desk staff were very obliging and courteous.

“HI Ex Frankfurt”

Great rooms. The beds were soft and comfortable. Great pillows. Great a/c. Great stay! Breakfast was plentiful and excellent. Two thumbs up!

Area recommendations

Turn left outside the front door, walk to the bridge, cross it and you'll find yourself at one of the weirdest thing ever. There is a tower with an outdoor, stand up pub attached to it. Bizarre! Drunks standing at a pub in the middle of the street. Anyway, beyond that, that is the start of a street full of restaurants. I don't know what else is beyond them as we were jetting out the next day but the price is right at this hotel, breakfast is included, and the location is probably pretty good even is it's not actually pretty.

“Frankfurt 's best Hotel”

It was a excellent hotel located not far from the center of the city. A employee by name of "Lee" at the check-in was very kind to show me where I can park the car free of charge.
