Great find

Posted 14-Jul-2014
The Hotel Concorde came recommended, and I booked a small room with a single bed. While the room was indeed small, it wasn't painfully so, and perfectly comfortable. I would suggest thicker windows though, for a noticeable amount of street noise was let in. Not enough to be a problem, but more than one would expect. The staff was polite and professional, and the check-in process was smooth. The location was perfect for me, almost adjacent to the Hauptbahnhof and across the street from a Rewe grocery store. I would definitely recommend it.

Feel line home

No word can describe how nice is this hotel compare to price. Very clean, modern and quiet. Staff are friendly probably because I speak German and they felt connected

Excellent close to rail station.

Staff was extremely helpful and understanding of our American need for ice! Neighborhood somewhat sketchy, but gret restaurants within 1/2 mile. If you using the rail,, highly recommended.

You get what you pay for...

Pros: Price and location.
I stay here often; on overnights between flights. The hotel is two minute's walk from the main train station and stylish. A single room is small; I mean really small. No seriously, it is small...but I am there to sleep and that's it. So that's what I mean in the title. I just want a small single bed and that's about all that is in a single room.

Close to the train station!

First timer in Frankfurt and Hotel Concorde couldn't have been more helpful. I arrived earlier than the check in time and they accommodated right away. No questions asked. The room was as expected...a single standard has more than you need when traveling alone. I will definitely be coming back.

Clean and quiet in the Bahnhofsviertel

Posted 27-Apr-2014
Pros: Excellent staff. Small room is well designed. Hotel is spotless.
Location: A few steps from the main station in the bustling and seedy Bahnhofsviertel. Some good Turkish and other ethnic food places are nearby.
Traveling by myself, I found the small room adequate.

Nice hotel in a not quite nice neighborhood

Posted 21-Apr-2014
Pros: Helpful receptionist.
Location: It's a two-edged sword about locating near the main train station. It's very convenient with lots of shops but the area is quite seedy.
The receptionist was very helpful and she let us checked in before 1pm after we dropped off our rental car in the train station. She also showed us where to go on a map. The hotel room is a bit dark but it got enough space for a sofabed for my teenage son. However, we don't feel safe in the neighborhood. There is a small supermarket across the street and the storekeeper had to stand there and check every customer. We also saw junkies and hookers on the street.

Dear GW, many thanks for choosing the Hotel Concorde and taking the time to drop us a review on Expedia. We thank you for your positive comment and are delighted that your stay at our hotel was to your satisfaction. We always advise our guests to take a right when leaving the hotel. The left corner is indeed a bit dirty. Anyway, we are glad that we did not have any dangerous experience yet at all. We would be delighted to welcome you again in our house within the near future. Many thanks for having been our guests. Kindest regards, Marc Prokop General Manager

Tiny rooms. Prices overly jacked up

Posted 16-Feb-2014
Tiny rooms. Prices overly jacked up for trade shows. Frankfurt is small and all hotels do the same. But the room is tiny. About the size of a Vegas shower. Anything over 120 euro is too much for these rooms.

Very convenient

Excellent service, polite and helpful.,lovely interior decor, though room a little small for 3 people, all sights within walking distance, only 2 minutes walk from station, would definitely stay again on next visit to Frankfurt
