“Very central location”

Can't fault my stay recently. Upgraded to a larger single room on arrival. Room on top floor so very little noise once window closed. En suite very clean. Breakfast consisted of both hot and cold buffet with ample choice. Only 2-3 minutes walk to S-Bahn, so easy to get around. Had no issues with area, just take normal precautions and you will be fine, was not hassled at all.

“Safety Concerns at this Strange Little Place”

There was no security or control upon entering the hotel: anyone could walk in off the street and walk up to the rooms without passing the front desk or any security. Considering the drug dealers and addicts and the prostitutes in the area (very close to the central train station) this is a very dangerous flaw of the hotel. The hotel was functional but not the least bit charming, despite the arty multi-colored tile fragments incorporated into the decor.

Area recommendations

I would recommend any area near the ZEIL, the central walkway/shopping mall that stretches from the Opera House to the C&A Department Store. There is a lot to do in the area, and many nice restaurants and shops to choose from. Stay AWAY from the central train station: the drug activity and prostitution in the area are terrifying.

“CLARION HOTEL FRANKFURT AM MEIN”

Le Clarion Hotel se situe à deux mns de la gare centrale de Frankfurt. Décoration intérieure très intéressante. Personnel anglophile. Les grands magasins à deux mns avec la GeothStrasse toute proche. Je n'ai pas testé le restaurant mais la carte paraissait intéressante.

“風俗地域の近くではあるが悪くないです”

友人と女子二人でドイツ南部を電車旅する途中、１泊しました。フランクフルトでの滞在目的は、市街地観光とライン川クルーズの拠点でした。まず、このホテルは、近くに風俗系の店がある地域があり、はじめはびっくりしました。しかし、道を選べばフランクフルト中央駅から風俗地域を通らずホテルに着けます。駅から近いので、スーツケースを運ぶ距離が短く楽で、私たちのような電車旅の人にはおすすめだと思います。しかし、窓から外を見ればそういったお店のネオンが輝いていますし、パトカーなどの音も聞こえますので、気になる人は選択しない方がいいかもしれません。私たちは眠りが妨害されることはありませんでした。ツインルームに泊まりましたが、その部屋はクロークが広く、セキュリティーボックスもありました。朝食もパンやハム、フルーツなどが数種類ありました。他の宿泊客はあまり観光っぽい人は多くなかったです。夜は、１Fではサッカーをテレビ観戦できるバーのようなものがあり、現地の数名の方が盛り上がっていました。フロントは普通に英語が通じます。総合すると、コストパフォーマンスとしてはよいと思いますし、電車旅にはおすすめします。

Area recommendations

レーマー広場の近くにある大聖堂のパイプオルガンが思いのほか見事で一見の価値はあると思います。また、ザクセンハウゼンのツム・ゲマールテンハウスというよくガイドブックに載っているレストランは、雰囲気を含め、ドイツらしさを味わうことができました。リンゴ酒を味わうことができたのもさることながら、皆さん他のお客さんと相席しあっており、私たちも現地の人々と交流でき、楽しかったです。

“駅から近く便利だが、治安は悪そう”

中央駅からすぐで大変便利。しかし、近所はナイトクラブなどいわゆる夜の繁華街。女性一人旅は避けたほうがいいかも。しかしホテル自体は部屋も清潔で値段の割には満足のいくものでした。朝食のパンがおいしかったです。一つ残念なのはエレベーターがものすごく遅いこと。とはいえ全体的にはまあまあ満足です。

“フランクフルト中央駅近くホテル”

ホテルを探すのに時間がかかった。なぜならば、ホテル名表示がない！しかもホテルではなく表示がＢＡＲがだった。ホテル周りは「ＥＲＯＳ」という看板が目立ち、夜到着した私は周りから不審な目で見られ怖かったです。フロントの内装も４つ星とは思えない下品さ（個人的感想です） 4つ星ホテルということで予約しましたが、がっかりのホテルでした。５階建てのホテルで私の部屋は５階であったが、エレベーターが大変遅い！５階まで上がるのに１分間かかってしまいます、しかも暑い！！最悪。朝食はビュッフェスタイルであるが、私の経験した中で食べ物の種類も少ない！飲み物の種類も少ない！！ビュフェ。残念でした。

個人的には一生利用しないし、旅の残念話のネタにします。男性なら、「ＥＲＯＳ」の街なので楽しいかもしれません。
