Parking was scarce. Some evenings we barely squeezed in a tight space for the night. Once we had to go into the overnight pay garage. You need more/better parking options.

Affordable basic comfort
We arrived after midnight and left before 8 a.m. so our time here was short. After traveling through Germany and staying at numerous darling hotels is historic neighborhoods this was pretty basic. But it met our lodging needs and was convenient for our purposes. I missed AC and had to have the window open for cool night air. Clean, friendly, affordable.

Dear guest, Most of our guests apreciate the Location because ist near the motorway and a quick drive from Darmstadt and Frankfurt. On our Website we say that our parking free of Charge depends on capacity. For the undergroud-garage we Charge 10€ per Night. You also have the opportunity to surch for an other parking space in the City as well. We are sorry that you have not been happy. We always do our best to make our guests happy. Price wise solution close to the airport
The price wise solution for business travelers who has to work close to the Airport - its reasonable walking distance. Hotel has everything what is needed, maybe wifi could be better.

This hotel was a last minute decision but it was a great one. The receptionist was nice; I appreciated the garage parking. With the garage parking - I wish the little area to get to the elevators had motion sensored lighting or something like that - when the area is unknown to you - things seem a little weird but you get past it quickly. Bed is comfortable and room is cozy - only one annoyance - the wifi signal was pretty poor in 408 and was low signal and easy to kick off.

Comfortable stay with welcoming, friendly staff. This was an overnight stop on the beginning of our holiday. We ate next door at Gino's and couldn't fault the service or food. Would stay here or another Achat hotel again.

Fine if you're just looking for a place to sleep
Hotel was fine for getting a good nights rest. Nothing fancy but adqeuate. Quiet location but somewhat isolated - you'll want to have a car if you stay here. Restaurant downstairs of hotel was very good and conveniently located.

A very budget hotel
I guess this is everything you can expect from a budget cheap hotel.. Not great, but the rooms are clean. The bed is not the most comfortable. What was said in other reviews about noise is true. The breakfast spread was disappointing. The free wifi connection was better than most hotels - a decent usable speed. There is a tram stop across the road that goes straight into town.

I have to say that this place is kind of depressing. It's along an obscure road somewhere, and there's no where to walk to. It's clean, and totally fine if you're just looking for a place to crash. But a little depressing in terms of the energy. For a three star hotel (I think it bills itself as a three-star hotel?) it should offer a bit more.....

Unless you are on business and you do not have to personally pay for the outrageous Hotel rates in Frankfurt, try the Achat Hotel in Darmstadt. I would recommend it. Frankfurt is for those who have business accounts which due to tax incentives for corporations, eliminate affordability for the average vacationer. Avoid Franklfurt and enjoy the rest of Germany.

Good value for the cost
This is a modern, clean and comfortable hotel with a restaurant and free parking. The staff is friendly and efficient. It's near the autobahn and easy to locate. If you are using public transportation it's on the streetcar line, which connects to the train. It's also within walking distance of a large store where you can buy food, wine, and other items. No air conditioning, but there was a fan in the room which was adequate for our early Sept. visit.

Not bad but rooms are quite basic
Location wasn't as close as I was expecting to Darmstadt centre, but I was faced with limited choice when I booked. Rooms were basic, with only one accessible plug in the room meaning I couldn't charge a laptop at the desk while working. Staff were friendly, restaurant seemed busy, but I didn't eat there. Not bad for the money paid though....
