“Well located, clean, modern”

Modern Scandanavian style rooms. Good onsite cafe. Easy walk to the centre of town along the river

“Bamberg Kongresshotel”

Impersonal but well located and well priced; service exactly right, good breakfast buffet and nice Gasthaus offering local dishes. Not as luxurious as the sister hotel - Residenzschloss but half the price

“Das Welcome-Hotel in Bamberg liegt in unmittelbarer Altstadtnähe; viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fuß”

Nicht so angenehm war der intensive Kanalisationsgeruch im Badezimmer.

Area recommendations
Schön war ein Ausflug nach Kloster Banz, Vierzehnheiligen, Bad Statffelstein mit Staffelberg (ca. 40 kim) und mit Abschluss "Auf den Keller" in Memmelsdorf (3 km ab Bamberg).

“Hotel liegt ca.10min Fußweg vom Zentrum, direkt am Fluß”

Hotel sehr zu empfehlen. Günstiges Parkhaus direkt am Hotel.
