“walking distance to old town”

Hotel was easy to find. It was about a 20 minute walk to the old town. The breakfast included with the room was good. The staff was helpful. For European standards the bathroom was large. Beds were comfortable.

“Nice Hotel... bad location”

This was a nice hotel with a friendly staff. But, I would not stay there again. The hotel was right down the street from the train station and some interesting characters walked around the area. Our room was on the front side of the hotel and sleeping at night was impossible. We heard people talking very loudly from outside and the traffic was terrible. The hotel is right next to a Casino and I can only assume that is why we heard people until the wee hours of the morning. Plus, the hotel was a good distance away from the historic part of town. If you do stay… get a room on the back side of the hotel, it may be better. Also, we had a very small room and the shower did not have a curtain. Water went everywhere!

“Hotel Bamberg”

Claims to have wifi available. Very poor wifi. Intermittent at best.
