“Apart from the bed, the Hotel was as good as it could get”
The Hotel location, given we were visiting for the Christkindle Markt, was very good. A minutes walk from the HauptbahnHof, and approx 5 minutes walk to the nearest Gluhwein stand. Room was clean, service was good. We enjoyed the breakfast. All staff we spoke to were very helpful and polite Our only complaint would be over the comfort of the bed. Both my wife and I had trouble sleeping for long as the mattress was very hard. No doubt if we were staying longer than 2 nights we would have got used to it. That said, we would recommend this hotel and would stay there again
“Excellent location”
Great hotel. Helpful & efficient staff. Very central/convenient location. Particularly liked the bar - happy hour 5-7 every evening
“Pleasant stay”
Breakfast superb. Bathroom small. Lighting not good. It would have been nice to have had a mirror in the bedroom. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which I found inconvenient as I sleep badly, however, reception found a kettle and brought it to the room immediately. I could not fault the service I received. The Christmas market was brilliant.
“Good, but a bit expensive”
This hotel is well located and within walking distance of the old town. Good public transport also close by, with the train station just across the road. Journey time from the airport about 15 minutes. Food and service is very good but pricey.,
“Okay but Internet and phone calls extortionist”
It was overall a good hotel but their Internet very unreliable and even very expensive. Customer support was routed to India which is not the issue but the technician had no clue and had to escalate things to higher engineer! was not sure escalation went to China!
“Excelent Hotel”
Excelent hotel in all respects, the only thing that should be consideret is that the rooms vary in size and shape because it's a very old hotel, so it is possible to get a quite different rooms, ours was beautiful.
“A vdecent hotel”
Friendly staff
“Fabulous hotel, but don't bring your kids”
Le Meridien is a fabulous high end hotel. We arrived with our two young children and got the impression that they were not welcome. If you want a snooty hotel, this is it. The location is wonderful and decor lovely. The bathroom was palatial. However, we were surprised that for such a fancy/expensive hotel that they wanted to charge for WiFi. It was the only hotel that we encountered in Germany that charged (exorbitantly) for Internet service. Overall, a very nice hotel but really only for adults.
“Nuremberg”
The hotel was very nice and perfectly located for walking the old town.
“vacation”
The room was way too small and the air condintioning was not working and they would not switch to a room with air because they said they did where full. So they provided a fan which I could not plug in
