“Mixed feelings”

We arrived at the hotel to be advised immediately by our taxi driver that we were on the edge of the Red Light area and to take care NOT to turn right out of the Hotel! First problem with hotel the entrance is blocked by displaced smokers and their smoke! The reception staff were brusque they offered just enough assistance avoiding being friendly. All communal areas were set up for business and conferences and the solo traveler felt a little uncomfortable. However, the room was immaculate,spacious and beautifully appointed. Breakfast was very good, if a little pricey.

Area recommendations
Within the old city walls lots to do and see.
Getting around
Use the underground rail (U2) for transport to and from Airport, very cheap very efficient and easy to use.

“Great Hotel”

This hotel was in a great spot to walk to all the sites. It was clean, the staff was helpful and we had no complaints. I read some reviews about it being near the red light district, but we never saw anything alarming at all. Would definately stay there again.

“Value for money”

Good quality hotel service with relatively reasonable price, highly recommended.

Area recommendations
The old town is beautiful and well preserved. The hotel is well situated within the city wall - at the foot of one corner tower. Walking distance to all attraction in the old city. Restaurants near the town hall (Rathaus) are particularly good and not expensive.
Events and shows
Music festival - a three day event from 29 July this year is attractive.

“Will go back”

Loved the hotel! Mostly everyone spoke english, room was a good size, bigger than most I have seen in europe. Walking distance to many points of interest.

“Hotel Holiday Inn - centro Norimberga”

Vicino al centro della citta' e ben servito dai mezzi pubblici. Ottime camere. Unica pecca, il quartiere a luci rosse e' giusto dietro l'angolo.

“Holiday Inn Nuremberg”

Bon hôtel confortable. Très bon accueil avec de bons conseils sur la ville. Situation dans le coeur historique et proche du centre ville commerçant. Je le recommande avec des tarifs attractifs le WE.

“Ganz nah am Nürnberger Weihnachtsmarkt!”

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse der Nürnberger Altstadt. Die Lobby ist gediegen und gemütlich. Bereits um 14:30 Uhr konnte ich mein Zimmer beziehen. Es hat schöne Erdtöne. Ein bequemer Ohrensessel lädt zum Lesen ein. Der Wifi-Internetzugang ist leicht zu bedienen. Die Kopfkissen sind zum Schlafen sehr angenehm. Das Restaurant hat einen hervorragenden Koch, der auch direkt an den Tisch kommt. Das Steak war vorzüglich. Die Weinkarte war gut sortiert. Das Frühstück-Buffet war abwechslungsreich und lecker.

“Hotel liegt direkt am Rotlichtviertel, wovon mal allerdings nicht viel mitbekommt”

Insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Personal sehr freundlich, Hotel modern und sehr sauber. Ich war im 5. Stock, dort auch sehr ruhig. Zentrale Lage, ums Eck rum beginnt Rotlichtviertel.
