“Sufficiently comfortable tourist class restaurant.”

Hotel is sufficiently comfortable.10 mins walk to old town. 5 mins to U bahn station. We were put up in a separate apartment next door rather than the main hotel. Room smells strongly of stale cigarette smoke. Bathroom is clean. Heating works well. Staff is cooperative & helpful. Good value for money if you are on budget.

“A great location to discover Nurnberg's Old Town”

The service was friendly and very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved to location. I would stay here again.

Area recommendations

The old town of Nurnberg is a great area to wander around, especially when the Christmas Markets are on! Loved it. Great shopping and lots of places to eat.

Advent time for the Christmas Markets. Best markets in Europe!

Barfusser was a great beer hall with a great atmosphere.

“Nice stay”

Good hotel for the price. Not 4 stars probably more like 3 or 3.5. Clean, comfortable, spacious. Nice balcony and free beverages in frig. No air conditioning. About a 10-15 minute walk to the old city. I would stay here again.

“Super for a good rate”

This place doesn't have parking. It is convenient if you know how to take the train. It's 12 minute walk to the city point.

“Best Value for money”

Excellent Value and 4 star plus hotel. East to find and garage parking. Just 10 mins. walk from the old town. Our room was a suite with kitchen, free drinks,lounge and balcony. Helpful staff and wonderful stay - we will be back.

Area recommendations

The old town. The castle is amazing with stunning views over the city. We ate in a restaurant which prouced and served saurkraut and bratwurst - delicious. The town has dozens of shops in one area and beautiful old buildings, churches in another - something for everyone.

The Christmas market - apparently the best in Germany.

“Great Stay!”

This hotel was on the cheaper side, so I was a little skeptical about expecting great quality. I was very pleasantly surprised! The hotel is very cute and clean. The rooms were much larger than I thought with a little kitchen and the bed hidden behind a large bookcase. It looks more like a little studio apartment than a hotel room. The morning breakfast was fabulous with a large variety of food served in a nice pavilion. The only drawback was the location of the hotel. It was a little farther from the Old Town than some other hotels that were on the main street outside the wall. It was fine for me and my family because we don't mind walking. But for someone who can't walk several blocks out of the way I wouldn't recommend it. Overall a great experience! Would stay there again!

“Perfectly suitable”

Our room was huge with a full kitchen and lounge area. Close to public transport and only a 10 minute walk from the old town. Not may restaurants or other entertainment in the area but I'd certainly use them again.

“Vary good hotel”

The hotel was a five minute walk from the Metro. It was extremely clean and the room very comfotable. The bedroom was in a loft and the only negative was having to negotiate the stairs to get to the bathroom. The restaurant buffet was adequate.
