“Good location but not great.”

Surly receptionist barked at us that we couldn't check in until 2pm when we arrived at 11.30. Non-sympathetic & not friendly attitude (this lady was same over next day too but other staff nice). Let us leave our bags but right by main entrance doors (easy to snatch). Room clean & good size but no air con so uncomfortably hot at night, open window let in very little cool air. The room balcony was shared so safety issues if door left open. The good points are that it was very near to old town centre. Taxi only about 15 euros to airport. In short, avoid in the summer & don't expect a cosy reception!

The hotel was extremely clean, spacious room and excellent staff that was polite and responded to rapidly to our needs. They were happy to provide us with information regarding transportation, night life and touristic sites. I will definitely recommend this hotel and will be happy to go back again.

It was a perfect stay. Nice and roomy bedroom. Good breakfest (surcharge of 10 euros). Nearby Nürnberg Old City (just 5 minutes walking). Great staff. I recommend and hope stay there in the future.

“Terrific value!”

The hotel was close to the train station, which is where we arrived, and to Nuremberg Castle. The room was very large by European standards. We added the breakfast and the buffet was good with a lot of variety. The ONLY negative was that the hotel was on one side of the castle, which is on a steep hill, and the Christmas Market was on the other side. It was a short walk, but tough on my worn out knees...which can hardly be a fault of the hotel. All in all a great room and a terrific value!

Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nurnberg...was clean and very friendly staff and resturant had very good food...would definately visit agian

“No better than basic”

This hotel is basic and okay for a short overnight stay. Otherwise I was not so impressed and cannot understand how it is advertised as a four star hotel. Although nice and clean, the decoration of the hotel and rooms is very outdated and in need of refurbishment.

found beds very uncomfortable, be aware no resteraunts around hotel open on a sunday not even hotel resteraunt was open

“Not Impressed”

Old not too clean, old lady in reception not nice. When I asked about nearest thai food, in reception people said there's nothing here, but I found 3 thai bar on the same street. Anyway nothing to recommend.
