Lovely Bed and Breakfast on outskirts Harrogate in a lovely small village setting. Just what we needed to attend a nearby wedding.
Room very pleasant and extremely clean and lovely bathroom too. Breakfast on the Sunday Morning was far far superior to any hotel breakfast and was taken in the deli/coffee shop, which has a warm sunny and friendly atmosphere, Lovely Hosts. Thank You
After a drive from Manchester in torrential rain, the warm welcome from Carolyne was much appreciated. A tasty dinner served by a friendly waitress completed our recovery from the journey. The bedroom was comfortable with extra touches like a cafetiere with real coffee. A good breakfast in the morning set us up for the next part of our journey. Would thoroughly recommend The George at Wath.
When we arrived the village was buzzing as there was a 1940s event going on. The accommodation was described as having free parking which we thought would be attached to the accommodation. However the free parking turned out to be a free village car park. The accommodation was the upstairs of a busy pub. We had to wait to get attention and shown to our room. The room was very nice but the view from the window was an untidy yard containing the rubbish bins. The free wi fi which was advertised was not available yet! The breakfast was excellent and used high quality produce and was well prepared.
Thanks for the very warm welcome...a proper country Inn, and would highly recommend this to anyone. Especially helpful landlord who helped us with alternative directions to York in rush hour!! Excellent breakfast.
Really thoughtful proprietor who was extremely friendly. Room was extremely clean and well equipped with a hair dryer, magazines and bottled water. Lovely big house in a nice quiet street. Delicious breakfast with a good range of options. All in all an excellent stay.
