“Quaint but Problems with Electrical Stuff”
The hotel room was quaint - there was not enough room on the table for a laptop so phone had to remain on floor. Television was tempermental -- took forever to turn on and KEEP on -- then it took forever to Shut off. Mgmt told me to direct the remote towards the floor!!!! Didn't work - all three days I was there. The alarm clock did not work -- had to call for wake up call and every morning and was greeted with a pleasant, prompt call. No cold water -- only tepid. Never had my fridge in the room restocked - albeit - the prices, as in most hotels, shock you but when you want a drink of water !!! The location was perfect and all the staff was friendly and understanding.
“Texan looking for history and culture”
We were thoroughly satisfied. We especially liked the service we received.
“Needs imporvemnent”
Room was too small for the price. A/C was very loud and air blows right on the bed. No internet access from the room. TV did not work the first night.
“Impresive Quality”
What a great, Quiet, Quality, Hotel
“Old fashion charm, good quality service”
This hotel is not on a main drag, yet near enough to be close to good food and shops. Not too far from convention center which is where I needed to be. The hotel's old fashioned charm and very good condition made it special and different from "convention fare" hotels. I liked the room service very much. Good food. I enjoyed my stay.
“Great Luxery Stay!”
The staff were very helpful and the room was Quite nice. We slept great. The bed was wonderful. I did not like that the couch faced a window without a view and not the TV. Next time I will be sure and choose their top King room with a jacuzzi.
“Nice hotel, excellent restuarent”
Good location for seeing For t Worth. Room very comfortable but no view , just a brick wall and pipes! Recommend the restaurent for breakfast - superb
“Beautiful hotel!”
As opposed to many other older, renovated hotels that are historical, the Ashton has huge rooms! The bathrooms are also large and beautiful and the beds extremely luxurious and comfy. The restaurant was wonderful and the bar and bartender very friendly and helpful. We arrived via the train from Oklahoma City and walked to the Ashton just a few short blocks. Desk clerk was also friendly and helpful. I have already recommended this hotel to friends.
“A terrific boutique hotel in Fort Worth!”
The Ashton is a wonderful boutique hotel in downtown Fort Worth. The amenities and personalized service are excellent, and the location is perfect; that Ashton is a quiet oasis right in the middle of all the downtown activities.
“Will Definitely Book Here Again”
Great hotel - incredible price. Expedia makes it easy, and The Ashton was very impressive, especially at the Expedia price.

Downtown Fort Worth, Texas, United States of America: Sundance Square is downtown Fort Worths signature destination. Here, visitors can shop, dine, and sleep in historic buildings in a 14-block area. One of the citys gems, though, opened only in 2001. Despite its age, the Bass Performance Hall was built to match its old-time surroundings. Two 48-foot angels guard the main entrance.
