“Residence Inn on the Trinity”

The best thing about my room was the view to the Trinity River. In the morning I sat on the balcony overlooking the river, watching the bicyclist and joggers, the people out walking their dogs, and a Saturday morning soccer game across the river in the park. If you get a room here it is well worth it to request a room on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the Trinity. The room was clean, well furnished, and economical. There is an IHOP directly across the street, howeve their complimentary morning breakfast is very good.

Area recommendations
Botanical Gardens are exceptional. The Ft. Worth Stockyards are 10 minutes away. If you want the finest boots and saddlery on the planet you have to stop at M.L. Leddys in the stockyards. The H3 Steakhouse across the street has the best Margarita's you will ever drink. The Ft. Worth water gardens have to be seen if you go downtown.
Dining
The best places to eat are: Breakfast - Paris Coffee on Magnolia Lunch would be at Kincaids Burgers on Camp Bowie Dinner has to be Joe T. Garcia's on Commerce or Bonnell's on Bryant Irving.

“Fine hotel”

Nice hotel, nice large rooms.

Area recommendations
Botanic Garden just north on University is great.
