“Stockyards Best”

Probably the nicest, most covenient, hotel we have stayed in. If you going to the Fort Woth Stockyards, stay here. Check in, park, and walk all over the Stockyards for food, drink, and fun.

“Comfortable and convenient”

The Hyatt Place Fort Worth Stockyards is ideally placed for anyone visiting this area of the city. The various attractions actually surround the hotel and once the car is placed in the car park it can be left until one wants to go further afield. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and responded to enquiries quickly. There is also a small but clean swimming pool which is ideal to cool off in. Continental breakfast is provided with extras also being available. All is served on proper china plates with metal cutlery which makes a very nice change from the usual cardboard and plastic used in hotels of a similar nature. This is a hotel which I can certainly recommend.

Area recommendations

The Historic Stockyard Area is interesting but will not take much more than half a day to explore. If you are a cowboy fanatic the visit could be considerably longer with visits to rhe Cowboy Hall of Fame. However the restaurants and steaks in particular are excellent.The setting for the TV series, "Dallas" at South Fork ranch is certainly worth a visit as is the nearby small town of Grapevine.

When to go

As is usual with tourist destinations in the USA everything winds down after Labor Day even ifthe weather stays good.

“Comfortable beds, would stay again”

Beds were fantastic! Didn't get to use many amenities... but it was a nice place to stay and I would again. Room with 2 queen beds is much larger than the one with 1 king bed.

“Enjoyed the stay...”

First time at this hotel. Very clean rooms...friendly, helpful staff... in the middle of a tourist area, but very quiet... restaurants and shopping in walking distance... great A/C...comfortable beds..free breakfast and wi-fi...would recommend and will stay here again

“Would definitely go back.”

Very nice hotel. Think that it's underrated at 3 star.

Area recommendations

Stockyards are fun if you've never been there. Close to Joe T. Garcia's. If you go to FTW and haven't been to Ol' South Pancake House and ordered German Pancake, you just don't know what you've been missing.

“Stockyards”

The hotel was in the middle of the Fort Worth Stockyards. Great location and great service makes this a wonderful place to stay. Would recommend to everyone.

“Average”

I was upset that on two different occasions once when I called the help desk to request toilet paper I was told by the staff "We will see what we can do" and waited over an hour to get someone to bring up the toilet paper. On another occasion there was no hot water to shower with and when I called the front desk I was told again by the staff "We will see what we can do". I feel that even if the staff wasn't sure of an answer to give me they could have at least said they would contact a manger to correct the problem and to call again if my needs were not met. I feel that the reflection of a business is greatly displayed through its customer service.

“Ft Worth Fun”

Short stay but delightful. Excellent location for walking. Much more to do than expected. Hotel was a good buy.

“Nice Hotel”

The hotel was in the process of remodeling and several things were out of place due to that but overall it was a nice hotel. I will tell you that I know the hotel was full and I didn't hear a sound once I entered my room in the evening. I was impressed by that.
