“Hilton Hotel beds, prefect for dwarves”

Full beds were way too small for two regular sized people! On the other hand, dwarves would be quite comfortable sleeping there. Queen sized beds are the only way to go. Otherwise, don't even bother to provide two bed rooms.

“Nice downtown hotel”

This hotel appears to have been nicely refurbished. The hotel staff was very accommodating and attentive, but the evening valet staff left much to be desired. When I drove up, I was asked for my name and handed the valet ticket as the fellow was waiting for me to get out of the car so that he could sit in the driver’s seat while I retrieved my luggage from the passenger seat and the trunk. I was never asked if I needed any help with my bags until I walked through the doors into the lobby. With so many quality hotels in the downtown area, I will think twice before booking here again.

“a great hotel”

The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. They went out of their way to assist with local information, calling airport transportation, etc. The room was spacious and immaculate. All in all, an excellent experience

“Great location with great history”

Very surprised that a hotel of this age is kept in such great shape. Hilton has given me a new respect for their properties. Renaisance Square is only a few short blocks away and filled with great restaurants and activities. The hotel has a Ruth's Chris Steak House and a Starbucks in the building.

“Loved it!”

“Great hotel, great location”

We stayed there on a Saturday night. They had a quick check in process. When we would call valet from our room, to have our car pulled up, they were quick, and we never had to wait on our car. The bed was very comfortable.

“historic hotel, but Hilton has not done all they could”

I booked this hotel for my stay in Ft Worth, TX because it is a historic building and very conveniently located in downtown near all the bars and restaurants. We were really happy with the hotel building, the lobby (even though there was some construction at the time) and the location. However, for the money we spent we were not really impressed with the room. The room was really plain, not much art on the walls, blank large room with sparse furniture. The bathroom was gorgeous all granite, but the rest of the room was really lacking. The location of the hotel was the only reason to pay this kind of money for a hotel room. I have stayed in nicer rooms for much cheaper. The historic part was cool, but Hilton has taken any individuality out of the old Hotel Texas.
