The stay was AMAZING they had complimentary dinner the first night we stayed this included wine. The room was very clean and on the spot. I recommend this location highly!

Bugs Bugs Bugs!!!!
The first room had big Water bugs in it. There was a crack or opening in the bottom of the door big as the Trinity River. And, the bath tub only drained. The second room I was moved to was full of gnats! So I checked out extremely early. They were suppose to give me Wyndam Points but that did not happen! Please don't stay here!

Hotel is in bad need of an update. Room had musty odor from previous water damage. The pillows were stuffed into a pillow case but would come apart and be less than an inch thick. There was so much dust on the microwave, I wrote clean me in the dust.

They are in the process of remodeling. The say that they are "upgrading" wireless system. At present, they should say they DON'T have wireless. It is non-existent. When I went to speak to the front desk, the person at the desk said there were 3 guests working the lobby. I tried to watch TV and 2 of the local channels were scrambled. Couldn't call the front desk because there was no phone in the room. The guest clerk wrote everything down and I asked that a manager contact me. At about 10 a.m. on Monday and was initially told that the he was too busy to speak to me. They said they couldn't make a reduction in rate since I had rented via Expedia. (Yet I was paying at the hotel.) Expedia said that I had to speak to the hotel. Finally Expedia gave me a credit to a future use.

If what you need is a room at a reasonable price, this property fits the bill. Don't expect updated amenities and there are some repairs that definitely need to be made to the property, but it serves the basic purpose of a hotel--bed, bathroom, and a place to stay while away from home. Bonus is the free beakfast and pleasant staff.

The person working at the front desk was friendly and professional, however there was a creepy guest lurking around the front desk trying to make conversation with other guests. I felt EXTREMELY UNSAFE from the moment I left the front desk. I had to walk down a dimly lit breezeway to get to my room, which was on the back of the property, unsecured, facing an open area near the river. My door looked like it had been kicked in before, and again I felt very unsafe as there were multiple areas that were not secured. The room was dark and full of stained furniture, and I felt unsafe staying there. I immediately checked out and moved to a different hotel.

Cleanliness a real issue!
Stayed here for location to Charles Schwab golf tournament. Disappointed in how dirty hotel room was. Cobwebs all over front porch, tv did not work well and remote control did not work. Bed was decent and sheets and towels clean. Free breakfast was not bad and shower and bathroom ok. Stains were on walls which made it feel dirty. Location was five star and employees were friendly. Probably will not stay here again unless they deep clean and put some fresh paint up.Air conditioner worked great! The tv remote had hamd grease on and in between buttons.

The location is good and I felt safe. Good eating choices within easy walking distance. The facility is large and has everything one would need for an extended stay. The buildings are old and need to be updated. Lots of dust around the edges of the walls.

The staff was most helpful and so nice. There was a 'Happy Hour' in the lobby when we arrived serving nachos, soft drinks, beer, wine, and water. Excellent location to the Colonial Country Club. The property was run down. The inside of the rooms were alright but the outside was very much in need of maintenance.

The first night there I heard music until after 12 o’clock the second night there I could hear a dog barking half the night and a bunch of racket going on outside location is not good it’s noisy there and the bed was not good. I definitely will not be staying there again

The soap was already half used and open when we checked in, there were not enough pillows, and front desk was not very genuine in apology when we went to pick up fresh soap. Place was filthy. Would never stay there again.

The staffs were very nice and polite. The room is clean but because these building were very old so the room smell not so pleasant and the decors were outdated. I found molds on the ceiling right above the bed from water leak and in the bathroom ceiling. The exterior....I have to hold my breath/ my eye half shut to walk from the parking lot to my room. I suggested hotels.com need to verified with the property owner and change your property descriptions from suits to low income apartment complex. I’m sorry for the poor review. I was there just for a few hours of sleep and could’n sleep. Will never book this location ever again.

We booked family there for a TCU graduation. The location is excellent and it looks like a reasonable place from the street. Up close it is in really terrible shape. Our room was missing the TV - unbolted and the cable just hanging there. When we told the front desk, they weren't aware of this but didn't show any surprise. The couch was unsittable and the towels were stained. The other room had 2 TVs but also had a couple of holes in the walls. Neither door opened or shut well

Not bad for area.
The hotel looks old on outside but inside was nice. Had a few maintenance issues and could not be fixed during our stay due to lack of parts. Rooms were cool and comfortable. Nice kitchen area. Evening complimentary social had decent finger foods but not much choice of drinks. Front desk was pleasant. It was close to several activities and a nice river walk 500ft from hotel. We may stay again next trip.

When we arrive to the hotel we had to wait for someone to attend us & we check in go to the room & when we enter the place smelled bad, then we go to the restroom upstairs & it was clogged with well you can already imagine so we called the office & they came by to fix it but the next day it go clogged up again & our A/C didn’t work all weekend we had to keep the door open
