Potentially good hotel spoiled by poor facilities

Pros: Comfortable bed. Good location. Staff friendly.
Cons: Rooms need to be checked for serviceability of electrical equipment between customers.
Location: Texas Roadhouse Grill just next door - good food and drink. 5 mins from I35.
I booked this hotel as a stopover when driving from Wichita to Austin. It was in a good location with walking access to local bars and food. The staff were friendly and helpful. Lobby facilities were adequate. A self-service breakfast was included in the price - low quality but acceptable as a quick option before travelling. Parking facilities were good. However. I was really disappointed by the standard of my room. Whilst clean and well-presented, the aircon, bedside lamps and telephone were all broken. I was provided with an alternate room but compensation for my inconvenience. I woukd not stay here again. It is clear that the facility is under-maintained. I should not have been given a room in the condition it was in. Disappointing.

Very comfy beds - even a NEW mattress!

The hotel was great. What needs attention is the pool area. There doesn't appear to be any staff checking the pool or hot tub for cleanliness. The pool restroom had no toilet paper. Walls of pool & spa are turning green. My 10 y.o. granddaughter cleaned out cups & pop cans from spa.

Did not like my stay at Comfort Suites

the hotel is basically occupied by laborers working on the highway system in Fort Worth. I certainly would not like for my wife or daughter to use the pool with so many male occupants. As a matter of fact I saw the pool and it appeared not to be in use - not ready for use. My main problem was trying to use the internet. I looked through the brochere and there were no directions on how to use the internet. I called the front office and the clerk seemed to be annoyed that I had asked about the wi-fi (internet).I ended up calling the national 800 number and finally they called the hotel and I think someone from the national office helped me get on the internet. Needless to say I will not use this motel again and perhaps my times of staying in Comfort Suites in over. A organization should have pride in the service it gives. Last friday and saturday I stayed at a Hampton Inn in Schretz texas. That Hotel/Motel was a 10. I had to stay at a motel this monday because my house was being painted. I live less that 5 miles from the Hotel/Motel. I am not happy about poor service and lack of information (the manual did not explain the use of the Wi-Fi.

Forth Worth Grandparents Weekend

Pros: Staff, staff, staff!

Location: Texas Roadhouse, IHOP, Western Center retail area.
Upon flying into Dallas Love Field we turned our rental car west and anticipated a thirty minute drive to the Comfort Suites. Ack! The freeways are being torn up and exits are closed and traffic is horrible and we circled around three times to get to the Comfort Suites. Fortunately, that was the only down side to our weekend at the Suites. The hotel staff is absolutely the best. Breakfast is far better than we anticipated. The bed was very comfortable. The price was the right value. We would go back again. One suggestion to the management is to clean the pool area more regularly. The hot tub is great and it would help for the pool deck to be tidied up. Don't let the construction on 820 keep you away. Located right next to breakfast and lunch/dinner restaurants and conveniently close the highway without noise, it is very convenient to Keller just north and Fort Worth central.

Senior citizens review

Pros: Friendliness and the comfort of a suite.
Cons: I think the lobby should have brewed coffee 24/7, so convenient for everyone.
Location: Excellent location, easy to find.
The rooms were very comfortable, the xtra little closet in the living/kitchen area needs to have shelves inserted and also xtra blankets. Liked the idea of a suite and that is the main reason we will stay with you again. The breakfast was superb, such a choice, something for everyone, from a lite breakfast to a full meal.
