“Short and Sweet Stay”

The hotel was very clean and spacious, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were forced to evacuate because of a tropical storm, and the hotel refunded our money and helped us find another place to stay.

“Great time!!”

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. It was awesome. The rooms were open and decorated nicely. We had 2 seperate bathrooms and a full size kitchen. Also we had a screened porch which was great for drying towels. We did not choose an ocean front room but it was only a short walk to the beach. We rented bikes from the hotel that were included. The pools were awesome. Our daughter loved the one with the slide. Gas grills are available if you want to grill. We did have 2 minor problems with the room. A light didnt work and the doorknob to the master suite fell off. We called the front desk and within 10 minutes aomeone was there to fix it. We would stay here again. We loved it!

“Kid's didn't want to leave the room!!”

We had a wonderful time on vacation. The hotel was nice, however we had some problems: Our rooms were not ready for almost 2hrs. HOWEVER, they did give us refund and dinner on them. They overcharged us on some item. Read your bill very closely before you leave. It's not worth it to fight for $20 but it is an overcharge. The rooms were VERY clean, however they were late on a day and we finally had to sign off so they didn't have to clean it. Bring plenty of water bottles and food. It's nice to go back to your room and eat. Every time we ate out it was wonderful. Don't waste your time driving to Captiva unless you want to watch a sunset, too much sea weed.

Stayed in ocean view room, it was spectacular. Great view. Room was beautifully decorated and very spacious for my husband and I. Beach was great with all the shells to collect. Very relaxing. Delicious food at all the restaurants on the island. Great little getaway.

“Relaxing Vacation”

Great resort. Hotel staff was very courteous and attentive. We asked for coffee to brew and ice several times and it did not take long before someone was at the door with the goods. They provide the coffee and ice complimentary. I would suggest taking paper towels and paper goods (plates, bowls and plasticware) just to make it easier. What we did was had breakfast (cereals, poptarts, milk and juice) and lunch (lunchmeats and bread for sandwiches) in the room and then go out for dinner and it worked out great. Kids loved the shell water slide at the main pool and loved finding sea life (sand dollar, crabs in shell), they would take them to the touch tank in the eco center and were given tokens for the arcade. No complaints, it was a very relaxing vacation on the water, can't wait to go back.
