I would go back in a minute. It was everything i had hoped for!

“Good value for the money”

Great motel if you are traveling on a budget. We loved the fact that it was so close to the beach (across the street and a few steps) and yet we did not have to pay the higher price. We left our beach umbrella and chairs on the beach and went to our room for lunch. That stretch of the beach has beach bungalows and no apartment buildings. It was very peaceful and quiet. We were the only ones on the beach! I was told that September and October are the quietest months. Lovers key was near by. We had everything we needed at the motel: Refrig with freezer, stove, tv, etc. Publix was less than a mile away. The shower area was small. The clerk told us they also had rooms with tubs. The a/c was a wall unit which can be noisy if you are not used to it. We could have opened the windows for cross ventilation instead of using the a/c. The room was clean. We spent the money we saved on the room at restaurants enjoying ourselves. We will go back the next time.

“Good Hotel for the Price”

The Sun Tan Village was not bad for the price. It could have been alittle cleaner. Our room had several holes in the walls. It's located just steps from the beach. But several mins from the Pier. So with 2teenage boys-I was driving them back and forth alot.

“Disgusted.”

Please do not stay here. The hotel is in need of some serious TLC. It's an older hotel that needs more than just a little updating. Our room felt like it was falling apart. Huge akward gaps all the way around the door frame, entrance doorknob very loose, stains on the walls, mold in the shower, 70s carpet used as bathroom cabinet liners??? Even though the room was cleaned prior to our arrival, it felt dirty and gross because of the terrible condition of it. Beach is right across the street, but if you're looking to be where the action is this is not where it's at. The restuarants and shops are 3 miles down the road. Because of the traffic, it literally took me an hour to drive the 3 miles and then had to pay $7 to park. This hotel is just not worth the money at all.

“Could have been better”

With a little work this could be a nice place, the condition of the property is very low end. However, the location is great. Very disappointed. The photos on line are deceiving.

“Won't Stay There Again”

Dirty, Dirty, Dirty! , The owners are rude and unfriendly. They don't provide any services whatsoever and act offended when asked for a roll of toilet paper! They only exchange bathroom linens every other day & bring back the exact same ones you turn in ( which are old used, beach towels that were left behind by past guests) They do not change bed linens during your entire stay & when guests check out, they lauder the bed linens & hang them on the fence or shrubbery to dry! They stress to you that you are responsible for cleaning the dishes before you leave yet we pulled a skillet and spatula out of the cabinet that were covered in cooked egg. It was absolutely disgusting!!! They had old plastic chairs lined up outside your door & they are nasty dirty as well. Unless you care nothing about cleanliness & a sense of feeling welcome, I recommend you NOT stay here!
