“Great place to stay”

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days while in Fort Myers. We wished we could have stayed longer. The management and staff of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Great Location, Great Value for the money.

“Extremely Underwhelmed”

My boyfriend and I were expecting our hotel room to be modest, considering the low price we had paid. However, we had not anticipated broken furniture and lighting, stained and ripped bedding and towels, light fixtures filled with dead bugs, and drawers featuring an overwhelming moldy smell. We actually went out to purchase a sheet set and slept on top of the mattress because we were incredibly skeeved out by the bed. A few days into our vacation, it rained very hard, and it also rained in our room. We complained and were accommodated immediately by the boy working at the front desk. That boy was one of the redeeming factors of this hotel; he was very pleasant and helpful. Other positive elements: the pool was nice, and we did not encounter any bug problems (and we went in August). Regardless, when we go back to Fort Myers, my boyfriend and I are going to pay a little more and find a nicer place to stay, preferably in the Fort Myers Beach area.

The hotel is situated just off the water, which is nice. Unfortunately the hotel hasn't had a cleaning in a while and it shows. The spider webs that cake the ceiling above our room door entrance have been there for some time, and the room smelled stale. The amenities of the room were good enough, but the water left a bit to be desired (and a bad taste in our mouth). This is a pretty low-budget hotel. The only saving grace is that it is diagonal from a few places to eat. Others in our family stayed at the nearby La Quinta and had a far more positive experience.

Clean, comfortable, good breakfast included, right on water, pool areas by water, lovely

“No way!”

Despite that the hotel was almost empty, I was given a parking lot room instead of one with a nice water view. When I requested the change, the clerk laughed at me. Breakfast was the most lacking thing I've ever seen - no fruit, only 3 choices of things to eat. The TV flipper didn't work and there was mouse turd on the sheet! Definately awful.

“Schäbiges, runtergekommenes, ungepflegtes Hotel”

Das Red Roof, war auf unserem USA Trip die einzig grosse Enttäuschung! DIe Zimmer hatten kein Fenster das sich öffnen lies, daher war der Gestank im Zimmer enorm, es stank nach veraltetem Teppich und Verwesenem! Es liefen überall kleine Tierchen herum, war vor allem im Badezimmer sehr krass war! Wir zogen nach nur einer Nacht gezwungen weiter! Absolut nicht zu empfelendes Hotel!
