“Peirview”

First of all, if you book this hotel, book it with 2 double beds. I booked and choose to have a room with one double bed, and the room is the size of a closet! Not what the pictures were shown on Expedia. Was not happy with our room so we were told we could upgrade for FREE to a larger room. Two days laters we got a call saying we owed $20.00 A DAY for our upgrade. So, our relaxing trip was now ruined, and we spent 2 days tracking down the manager trying to argue with her saying we were told we would not have a pay for this upgrade. There were some good things about the hotel though, it is right in the middle of town, next to a lot of bars, restuarants, and the peir. Nice pool right on the beach. Rooms are a little old and dirty, but I could deal because the location of the hotel was great.

“couldn't sleep”

The bed was way to small and very uncomfortable. You weren't even allowed to use the pool until 10am.

A studio was too small for what we wanted. I booked the wrong room!

“Don't use this hotel ever again”

The hotel was horrible with too small rooms, the bed barely fit in the room. Very good location with a private beach and fee steps from the pier.

“Not impressed.”

The location was great for beach life. The hotel was not very clean or kept up.

“Not such a great deal”

What was good: location on the beach, bed was comfortable (maybe they got new ones), friendly welcome upon check-in, relatively clean (maybe didn't look clean because of age but I think it was clean), location near activities and night life. What was not so good: room was very small, furniture was old and worn out (wouldn't sell in a yard sale), hotel in general is run-down and old, room faced a parking lot and the back of run- down buildings, awakened a couple times during the night from hotel noise. I tried to keep in mind this is a 2 star hotel - but even with that in mind - I am afraid I can not recommend it. It's main redeeming quality is it is right on the beach for a very affordable price. I could see in the suites that have an ocean view and they looked nicer - larger, lighter, had nice balconies, etc.

“worst bed ever slept on”

Good qualities; directly on the beach, walking distance to many attractions including restaurants and shopping. Bad qualities ; smallest hotel room I have ever stayed at , my husband spotted a roach , but the absolute worst feature was the incredibly hard bed , the worst bed I have ever slept on

“Location is not everything!”

I sounded like some of the rooms may have been recently renovated but ours certainly was not! The bedding was old and worn out. There was a 3" hole in the wall just stuffed with tissue. The floors were dirty throughout. We were only there 1 night so did not bother to unpack but the dresser drawer pulls were so dirty I did not want to even open the drawers to look inside. We could here every sound from the adjoining room which was made worse since there was a group of intoxicated kareokee singers next door. The bath was dirty. The towels were so old and worn out they were coarse and were easily saturated. Banisters on outside stairways were filthy. Supprisingly, the exterior of the building looks attractive and would lead one to belive the rooms would be decent. Would not return to this hotel unless the rooms were renovated!
