“More than we expected great place”
Off season November - only 6 rooms being used in a12 story building they gave us an upgrade because the wifi did'nt work in our room. Beautiful view of the bay lots of birds and dolphins to seeoff our balcony. Breakfast very nice. The staff was Very helpful, no tension everything was easy. The town shut of the water for a couple of hours and the staff messages us all to get water from them if we neededit. Grounds were beautiful. Pool very clean and warm. Only think need wifi in every room. I will being going back next November .thanks lovers key resort
“Couldn't be better! Amazing time!”
We had a great time. The hotel was very nice, the pool was clean as well as warm. Great location! Beautiful view from the balcony, and great service!
“Visits Fort Myers Often”
Hotel is clean and up to date. Very low key. Flippers By the Bay had great food, lunch and Dinner only. Same menu every day, needs to change it up a little. Pool is great. Hotel is away from town square, if you want to be away from it all. Sometimes nice change.
“Gorgeous sunrises”
Beautiful sunrises over the bay which we could view right from bed. Good right from the start - they had given us a room on the top floor! Every balcony is private and the rooms are really soundproof. Would have been nice to have a kettle in the kitchen to have a cup of tea. Clean, well-maintained pool. The only drawback is the fact that the Gulf is actually on the other side of the road, which you have to cross in order to be able to walk there. But that is minor really. Would definitely go back!
“Enjoyed our stay”
Our room was great, as was our view. Wish breakfast would have been better, and that the cable would have worked on the TV. Overall, we enjoyed the location, the view, the restaurant downstairs, and the comfort of our room.
“Amazing views of preserve area and birds”
The staff was so friendly, especially Andy who kindly upgraded my family to a slightly bigger room with a sunset view for my aged parents. The view of the Lovers Key state park was beautiful. I saw many Osprey, but the icing on the cake was on our last morning when a pair of Bald Eagle parents brought their fledgling eaglets out for a fishing lesson. AMAZING. Will definitely go back.
“Beautiful motel. Will come back again.”
Hotel was very clean. Rooms were gorgeous and very spacious. Had parking for our boat. Staff was very nice and helpful. Hotel was close to boat ramp and bait stores and beach and state park. Truly enjoyed our stay and will come back again.
“Loved it!!!”
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to our 12th floor luxury resort room to see the spectacular views from our room where we got to watch dolphins playing in the inlet below. The room was spacious with windows from the floor to the ceiling with our own private balcony. The room was clean and nicely decorated with a tropical theme and right across the road was Lovers Key State Park. There were no other tall buildings around to block our view and the staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed having Flippers Restaurant on site so we did not have to travel into Ft. Meyers and had dinner there both nights of our stay. The food was good but a little pricey and the only thing I might recommend is that the staff inform people upfront about the 15% discount available to Resort guests as we were not aware until after the first night we ate there and paid full price. The second day I heard one of the other guests ask for the discount card and that was how I knew to ask for it. The continental breakfast was typical and fine for us. The swimming pool was lovely and the location of the resort being so close to the State Park was the best.
“bring your own tp paper and cable”
Well from having to switch hotels 3 times, to no cable the entire time, to running out of toilet paper and having to use the pool bathroom, because there is only people at the desk at certain times. Other than that it was okay. You would think they would have gave a discount, they could care less. Hotel okay if you don't have a 16 year old kid with you.
“Beautiful sights”
We loved staying at Lovers Key Resort; our room had great views and the bay was beautiful; we saw dolphins everyday and enjoyed all the birds. The girls at the service desk were very helpful and had great customer service appeal. The continental breakfast was very good but we felt it started too late-we only got to enjoy it one day as we left early in the am for the day. It should start at 7am not 8am. Overall, the resort is one we would definitely come back to in the future.
