“Not even close to 2.5 stars”

This was the first time I booked a condo ever! When we arrived in Sanibel and went to check out the complex, I was hugely disappointed. It was like stepping back in time to the 70's. The place has only one pool which is heated with a plastic thermal blanket that is rolled up on the side of the pool during the day, quite unattractive. We did not stay at the Loggerhead Cay. We did,however, have a fantastic stay at another condo complex within a resort which is on the right just before you cross the bridge into Sanibel. It was absolutely terrific and we want to stay there next year! They had 4 pools, a bar/grill by the pool, a fishing peir, and three very private beaches!
